[RIDL] Morn's Escape ( Very Easy) (The Curse of Morn Part 1.5) Answers

Continuing directly after the last puzzle...

You look in horror as Merek stares down at you. He tries to move closer to you but it seems that a magical force holds him back.

"You have solved all my riddles my son but I'm not through with you. Every day of your life will be misrible until you are mine! Everyone you love, everywhere you have been, everything will be destroyed. You think this is a victory? Ha! This fight has only begun!"

Without hesitation Merek disappeared in a puff of smoke to parts unknown and the princess lay dead at your feet. After freeing the princess you have been transported to somewhere deep in the heart of the castle. You can faintly hear Merek's Laughter in the distance.

"After I find the stone of souls you will truly be mine," croaks ancient voice.

You look around the gloomily lit room. On the dark stone walls you see a sign that says "The Maze of Riddles." You sigh and look at the large wooden doors on the opposite side of the room. As you approach it you feel a magical presence overtake you. A deep voice booms and fills the room with an awe inspiring amount of power.

"I am necessary for life to exist,

I can travel faster than a space ship, plane or bullet,

and without me we might as well all be like Tiresias"

What Am I?

You stagger back and take a closer look at the door. It seems to be requesting a door in response. You quickly search the room for another way out but find none. Unfortunately, you realize you must play Merek's games to escape the castle. You take a deep breath and start your journey.
