I can confirm the lootpack gives the game from a different page in the store, more precisely this one: https://immanitas-ent-gmbh.itch.io/shuyan-saga

And no Steam key anywhere to be found, so like you wrote below it's probably locked behind the .pdf file in that other version not given by Lootboy.

What will be interesting, if it's even the full game this time. I did get Shuyan Saga through lootboy before: (one of those purple itch.io game loot cards) and even though it registered fine on itch.io, it only contained a download link, for a file "Localization Shuyan Saga.zip 479 kB ", which contained some locale-xml files für English und Chinese. I'm not really interested in the game anyway, back then I was just curious whether it contains a Steam key and I learnt that it didn't even contain the itch.io game.

Got the same from the last Supreme Steam that I bought - shred it without thinking :).
In the latest DZ pack got Pixel Puzzles: UndeadZ and 3 diamonds.
Hope they will drop some codes on stream today :)

They do some kind of promotion on weekends once in a blue moon.

I've been using lootboy for 1 year and I think I saw 2-3 posts where hording diamonds would have been beneficial.
500 gems for your 10th pack or something similar

Strategical it would be good to collect them and hope on a "special day/weekend" BUT on the other site change Lootboy all the time stuff as example how much you get, how good the drops are, at which ways you can earn something and so on and all of that changes gone in the end in the bad direction (seen from the start of the company to now).
Because of that i use my diamonds right away before they give only itchio games for them or before they are nothing worth .

On the same theme, is it better to keep the toilet paper rolls (got my first one today), or to shred them for diamonds ?

i think its better to just use them. otherwise you might lose them for site shuting down, hacked, banned, etc. just use them while you can
