From what I'm seeing, the OP got a Skyrim gift from one person. The OP says that he was trying to trade that Skyrim gift for a Deus Ex key. The OP received the Deus Ex key but the Skyrim gift was revoked, meaning that the guy who gave the Deus Ex key never received the Skyrim gift. There are three people involved. Someone who gave the OP a Skyrim gift, the guy who gave a Deus Ex key, and the OP himself. Now the OP owes the Deus EX guy Skyrim. But honestly, I'm not too sure since the wording is so confusing.

Well from what I see:
He had Skyrim, traded it for Deus Ex, the copy of Deus Ex was then revoked. But then he says he didn't trade his copy of Skyrim over to this guy, which is why this guy wants 'klarc' to buy him another copy, because the original didn't work.
Now some other guy wants his game back.. which is uhh.. [I'm assuming a second trade has gone on?] a result of hi-
Actually, I have no idea.
OP: Could you re-word it please?

This seems like he knew it would get revoked and wanted you to buy him the game. Save all the e-mails back and forth and and if anything happens to your account you'll have proof. Specifically the part where he threatened your account would get banned...

@ all:
Sorry for all the confusion.
This is what I meant:
I traded a few games for a Skyrim gift from this user:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/XXXXX Then, I traded this Skyrim gift for a retail CD key of Deus Ex HR AE
*2 weeks later, the person I traded Skyrim, contacted me and said my gift got revoked.
Hope that made it easier to understand

So the copy of Skyrim that you were given was revoked by the original guy?
I take it you've been unable to make contact with the original person you got the game from?
And as a note: Might want to remove the link to that guy's profile. The mods don't like name-dropping / linking in these kinds of situations.
I suppose your best bet is, that if you can't contact the original person, try and negotiate with the current guy that you traded Skyrim to.

@Optionals and @ densorteslyngel:
I cannot contact the original trader, because his account got banned (I assume), so there is no way for me to contact him. I already lost the items I traded him, so to minimize the cost I want to wait until Skyrim goes on sale this Xmas to gift the Deus Ex guy. But he wants to revoke his CD key unless I gift him right away

NEVER you should perform gift trades when the offer is a Cd-key. Manually entering Cd-keys don't count as a valid way of "trading" in the eyes of the Steam ToS. Getting a Cd-key through a chat screen won't prove anything in a near future and Steam Support will not help you in case any problems arise from that.
From their view, all you did was gift him a copy of the game. That's about it. They won't refund your game. Take this as a lesson next time. You obviously received a Retail Russian copy of Deus Ex, which are deactivated in short lengths of time if the user is not russian himself.
Now about the threats: There's a chance your game will get revoked if the guy contacts steam support. There's also a chance that nothing will happen, because he doesn't have the name of your steam account. I can't really see people being able to disable steam accounts because they have a Cd-key, but again, it might be removed from your account.

I'm sad that it took me looking this far down in the thread to find an appropriate message like this.

@DuckieMcduck:
I think you misunderstood me again. Sorry for the confusing, English isn't my native language. The gift that got revoked is MY SKYRIM gift I traded the Deus Ex guy. I still have Deus Ex in my account that works perfectly. But my Skyrim gift I gave him got revoked.
@Cult:
Yes sorry, i'm simply looking for advice/tips =(

How did your gift get revoked? It wouldn't simply just vanish from both your pocket and his account.

I would advise everyone to avoid trading anything for "retail CD keys" those tend to be easily stolen, faked etc.

Hmm, had a similar case. Traded some TF2 items for a Skyrim gift, with a middleman (that I trust) handling it. A few weeks later, my Skyrim turns up revoked, so I go onto the guy's profile (the one originally with the gift, not the middleman. Have since forgotten who he was) and lo behold, a few other people's copies were revoked as well, shown by the comments on his profile.
Unfortunately can't get the items, or the game back but oh well, lesson learnt.

Just out of curiosity: Did you do it through that Steam Trade Feature?

The only viable way to fix false trades like this would be to require a X day minimum before you can trade a game. Otherwise there's really no way to prevent the CC that was used from having been a stolen one or something. They do cancel the accounts of the people who used the stolen CC or whatever, but usually they've already managed to get their goods to someone else/an alt/etc.
So, unless you want a penalty whereby you can't trade a game for 30 days or so...

They could have a minimum of 2 to 6 months to wait after adding and using a new card to your account before you can trade or gift the games from it. They would only have to do that if you added a new card with a different name. For instance, someone may make their account with a parent's card, and then change it to their own card when they are old enough.

Meh, I had a situation like this just the last month. Ridiculous I'd have to say.

Just came here to put my 2Cents in.
I was suspended for a trade that apparently involved a fraudulent gift. The guy either did a charge-back or was finally caught for a stolen credit card or something. The trade was made over 2 months ago, and yet I was still stuck with a suspended account and over $1000 of games on it.
Bottom line, trades with random people you don't trust (I mean TRUST) can be real dangerous and can put your account into some serious risk.

indeed, I agree with you. Though it is mainly because there is no game on steam called "skyrime" :P

Unusual case. I feel sorry for you. But here's a fact: he CAN'T get the key revoked from your account if the proof of purchase is OLDER THAN 90 DAYS. It says so in the Steam Suport FAQ's: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1673-IDGK-4694
*If I get this right, YOU purchased Skyrim and traded it to him. If it was revoked YOU have to get the funds back(or he get's them-but you should get them). If you don't get the funds back(if YOU purchased the game) then you can sue Steam/Valve. If you didn't buy it but got it from a friend, then he should have gotten the funds back and you could ask him to give you the game again.
Best of luck with the case! :)
*Unless if the buyer of the game used a stolen/invalid credit card.

Well, as of now, Steam support still acts clueless about the entire trade, so I re-opened a ticket and this is what I got:

Really?...
Anyhow, I came to an agreement with the guy. He wants The Witcher 2 and Bejeweled 3 by New Year, so he allowed me to wait for the Xmas sale.
Thanks everyone for your input.

there's a way to make links easily clickable for those who have hard time copying and pasting on ios or android dvices. simply use [brackets for what the link is about or write any other thing] and right after the second bracket use (parentheses and between the those insert link)

Long story short, I traded A skyrim gift for a Deus Ex HR AE retail CD key, but my gift ended up being revoked 2 WEEKS later:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31808218/gift%20revoked.png
The account of the original trader got terminated, so I assume he used a stolen CC or w/e.
Like any Steam user with half a brain I headed straight to Steam Support and asked what in the hell is going on, and if I can get back the items I traded that guy for. Bad news: apparently Steam is unable to give me back the items and they are "truly sorry for the inconvenience". Ya, they better be derp -_-. Anyhow, moving on. So the other guy I traded the gift to, obviously wants his game. I refused to buy it immediately, and said he will have to wait for a sale on Xmas. On his side, he refused too, and threatened me of reclaiming his CD key through Steam Support (he has proof of purchase and the original box) and said that will ban my account as well. Confused I searched a bit on the net for similar issues, but found nothing. I submitted a support ticket to steam again, but it takes 3-4 days just to get a reply, so in the meantime I wanted to ask other traders/users if they got a similar issue.
If this guy decides to revoke his CD key after all, because I'm not going to spend another 60$ on Skyrim to trade right before Xmas sale, can I risk getting my account suspended?
Thanks
EDIT: looks like formatting in paragraphs didn't work, so it's a giant wall of text =/
