actually if i want to communicate with someone specific, i leave a message in one of his older ended GA (assuming he has them)

I'd love that too. I sometimes leave offers for the same game to different traders and trade with the first one that responds. This feature would allow me to easily find my other offers and delete them. Currently I have to bookmark all threads instead.
Of course this would be useful in other cases too. If you decide you want to edit or delete one of the posts you made in discussions.

Good point. I don't personally bother to find the old post in this case, because 9 out of 10 times nobody even responds. Maybe there's something in my profile that puts them off?

The forum system here itself is poorly designed in so many ways especially the messaging systems. It uses something similar to Reddit (in terms of child comments) but nothing in regards to finding the parent (which is annoying to me). Lastly, I won't know what is the second last latest comment in the thread unless I specifically look for it unlike regular forums, hence I don't really try to participate that much around here.
