I dont know about the products, but AMD is in deep shit, lost alot of money since 2012.
And the consoles, well, sony and microsoft will squeeze any cent they can from AMD.

Lol, ofcourse you'd post those videos that've been analyzed to death and it's pretty damn obvious that the mini ITX board that he used(god knows why) throttled the 3570k. You really think in Far Cry 3(a GPU dependent game) at resolutions of 1080p and above(where the GPU comes into play more) would result in the 8350 getting 52fps, while the 3570k gets 25 fps? With the same GPU? Those results are impossible to achieve without some sort of anomaly. That guy is clearly clueless. His video is the only one on the internet with such outrageous results. Obvious anomaly is obvious. Try going with someone who knows what they're talking about.

I'll see your VIA, and raise you Transmeta. Now you're playing with Code-Morphing Power!

Or not. As other people have already noted.
Using a youtube link as a good benchmark source is about as legitimate as using an online-only college as a good reference for "real world" experience.
Also, few people say AMD cpus are bad for gaming. That's about the only thing they're good for since most games aren't very demanding. AMD simply sucks at everything BUT gaming.

actually, how about you go look up some real benchmarks from some reputable sources - tomshardware's review of the new i7 extreme edition is a good example. they compared the two i7 extreme editions to the i7 3770k AND AMD's pride and joy, and guess which one ranked last in every benchmark?

Hell yes. No mine goes unswept when this bad-boy is in turbo mode.
Look - that mofo gets so hot it requires a heat-sink. Read it and weep, people!

meh - even if AMD has better performance (which I doubt when comparing overall) it is only temporary Intel will pull ahead and then AMD will match it or surpass it and Intel will come back with something more, etc. Call me a fanboy if you want, but I'm just sold on Intel CPUs same way as I'm sold on Nvidia GPUs - I don't consider myself a fanboy but I think they're better overall and I will stick with 'em - I'm not throwing rocks at AMD or ATI they do have some impressive stuff but there can be only one and for me it's Intel and Nvidia... and PlayStation... and Energizer... and Droid... and I'm gonna stfu now

But seriously, who's alt is this? (It's not totally obvious because this Steam account only has multiplayer games that someone could/would use to boost/cheat in online games... Pathetic...)

Raw power wise totally, but I much prefer Nvidia drivers(Have had ATI cards in the past, its not terrible but...I have had issues arise in games and I never have issues with Nvidia) and I know its gimmicky but Physx is kinda nice...but thats not a deal breaker. Really it comes down to what a person prefers, but yeah ATI will give you more performance to dollar, thats pretty much indisputable.

Currently even if AMD is taking slowly the lead over Intel, Intel ''fanboys'' continue to say that they are better for gaming. Actually its no more true: the FX-8350 compair to an i7-3770k. Actually the problen with Intel is that they stay with 4 cores CPU's and gaming start to ask for mor ethat that, so Intel just go away slowly exept if their next gen have more cores.
P.S.: I know i7 go to 8 TREADS, guys, when they are on 8 cores mode clock speed go DOWN ok? So their are really easy to kick by AMD 8 CORES ok? Ho and I have good infos, if everyone want to say me that I am fanboy, please show me some new benchmark and ask you this question: since few years, how much games ask more and more cores fast?
