Why you shouldn't use Auto-Thanks etc.

When I see a vast listing of fake, insincere, or just plain lazy thanks I tend to think a lot less of everyone who posted them. If it was up to me I'd actually consider it cause to take someone out of the running for a giveaway.

A pointless platitude means nothing and is a waste of everyone's time. It's not even good manners, it's just robotic repetition.

I tend to say thanks in all the giveaways I enter just because I find it polite.
