Am I the only one that noticed that if you go to the GMG website, the timer always starts from 14:46 minutes? I just had the site open until it was 3 minutes left and then decided to randomly refresh it and it jumped back to 14:46. Are they trying to "cheat" to get more people to buy day 1's games?

Never mind, now it is on 0. But it was at least 20 minutes since that 14:46 showed. But still funny that even with the timer on 0, you can still buy the games from the sale.

For me it starts from 3:50 when I refresh it. So yeah, its actually a common marketing practice to do this kind of stuff.

That is true. Usually it is not for satisfiction of gamers but for selling as much as possible keys and make a highest profit. Sale is basically not for gamers but for vendors. I wont be confused if it will be even tomorrow.

They did this probably to get as many people buy their games as quickly as possible. Also, after the timer gets to 0, nothing happens.

Okay, so many people told me that yesterday was the last. That's why I bought Bioshock, but the game I really wanted was State of Decay and it has just went on sale and now I gave myself a fckin epic facepalm.

Well yesterday said encore day 1 instead of the common encore day. There was a hint there. Also mail talking about "tomorrow sales", another """hint"""

"Encore Day 1 starts here!

Be sure to stay tuned this weekend. Day 2 will start at 10am UTC on Saturday - you will find all the other offers you missed - plus we will have loads of surprises for you on Sunday."

Obviously Friday wasn't the end.

"Encore" means again. There were 5 days of sales starting last Monday. You missed it.
