I've been nagging on my support ticket for playfire missing achivements , they weren't tracked (only 4 out of 20 were) ,of course ... it took about a whole month from going back and forth replying to the traditional "your profile is refreshing come back in 24h" , anyway ...

today my request was finally been solved , some nice dude from the support team actually gave me the credits for the achivements i had , since i linked my steam profile for him to see what i achieved .... he gave me the reward i deserved .. and more :/

The 4 achivements that were tracked before got rewarded again i guess , since after calculating what i should've been given i found out there's an extra british pound or so , i should have about 9$~ in my ballance .. but i have 11$ :/

I re-opened the support ticket and wrote that "no good sir , you gave me an extra credit i can't take ... etc" , but was closed again since it's solved :D

tl;dr : i have an extra 2$ , i don't like to have money that isn't mine what should i do :| ?

They gave you extra because they take so long answering tickets.

You tried to write a ticket again, right?
Maybe somebody nice gave you the 2$ as an excuse?
That isn't seen often these days, but it can happen.
Just keep it, would be my idea.

thanx guys , idk about the "write another ticket" since it would be too much hassle and they might laugh at me xD , afterall it's just 2 dollars (and it would probably take another month for them to get to it),

guess i'd go with lezz's soulution , i'll try to see if there's anything good i can buy for 2$ and give it away :D

OR ,

i'll try to get a humble bundle with this amount somehow (since it's basically charity too) , anyone knows if i can transfer credits to someone else on gmg ?

Write the Steam key on a piece of paper and drop it into their hat/cup as you walk by. I'm sure they'll appreciate it!

I never write tickets to Playfire support if something gets missed. As it is, they give me games for nothing and I haven't bought anything with real money at GMG in over 2 years.

I'd feel too guilty wasting their support people's time (which they also have to pay for) to bug them for more free money :/

I know how will this sound, but better safe then sorry.
Try contacting them again and solving the issue, and while its unsolved don't touch that extra credit you've got. Also, try recalculating amount that you should get, maybe you made an error.
I know its a pain, but if accountants and layers get involved, unfortunately your ass will be on the line. I'm sure that they have margin for error and your 2 extra coins are just drop in the sea, but law (ToS) is there to protect them not you.

If an employee at Starbucks gives you back an extra $2 with your change, they can't sue you to get it back.

Probably because there is no prove that incident happen, while in digital transaction, each and every transaction is recorded.
Also, there is probably a way for Starbucks to sue you, but it would cause more bad publicity.

Playfire cannot sue an unknowing customer. If the OP was a real person, in a physical form, he could realize the cashier's mistake and give the barista back her $2, but no such method exists in the digital format. Also, even in real life, the OP is not required to give the money back to the barista, its simply the moral thing to do.

And the defense is very easy. He tried to give it back, and they refused.

I preordered last year an expansion form a company, let us call them "propeller" :-)
Within the buy process on their website an error occurred...before I even gone to checkout.
After trying it again, they claimed a problem with my credit card. So I checked my credit-card account, no problem, plenty of money...but they already charged the expansion.
But in my Game-Account the expansions was still missing.
To make it short, it took 5 mails and 3 weeks, (I had to send them 3 times the transaction codes from my bank) to solve the problem.
And funny thing, 1 week later after they finally activated the expansion, they canceled the payment.
What do you guess I did? writing them again...and begging for taking my money or just guessing that this is a compensation for stress and being for many years a customer.

Wow. This sort of attitude seems to be really rare. Maybe leave the extra credit unused forever if you are so torn up about it?

man , you guys xDD

anyway , glad they responded after contacting GMG's facebook , here's their reply :D :

"Hey! Sorry to hear you were waiting for so long. On this occasion feel free to keep the extra credit - thanks for being honest! Enjoy your credit! :) "

i'm just glad that my conscience won't hurt after this (yes , for only $2 extra dollars) , call it what you want ... but honesty is something we should all have :)
