Are you pissed off by Steam laggs, downs during Sale?
Not at all. If it was a daily sale I might care, but this is going for a week and a half. Have some patience because in an hour or two it'll be completely good. Just go eat lunch, or take a walk, or maybe try playing one of the games you bought during the LAST sales. By time you're done things will be better.

This. I never check any deals during the first hours because not only often prices are still being set up but also lags, lags and lags. Usually I just look at sales the next day and it's all fine.

I managed to get some Rocket League DLC in my cart and buy it.. but never got the receipt, and it still shows up in my cart as well as my library, and now I can't sign into steam to play it..

I've heard that IV is almost unplayable, because of windows live service is disabled. A lot of people faced that problem and not all of them found solution. So be careful.

regardless if people cant wait, its pitiful for a company the size of valve not to be able to handle the (expected) traffic from their own sale... its poor planning and they can more than afford to compensate for the extra traffic even if it is just for a few times each year...

Origin and Uplay should start a short summer sale at the same time as Steam. All they need to offer is a site that works.

The sale went live early this year. I was happily browsing ~10 min before "official" start and then as soon as 10:00am hit, Boom. Dead. There are no timed deals folks. Lets just all chill for a moment, remind ourselves we have hundreds of unplayed games in our libraries already, and then come back in few hours and add a dozen more to the backlog.

I do like Steam as an idea of one place for all my games, but i hate Steam's support - few times took them to answer almost 3 months... and i hate their connection problems during big Sales. "Sale where you can't buy..." - this can sound as a joke, but it's freaking not =/ I'm trying to buy few games and it's not possible at all.
And these errors... these freaking errors, when you are trying to buy game by your steam wallet, but Steam goes crazy and says some bull crap about credit card -_-
