When I was mining for Bitcoins, I exchanged them for credits on TF2WHX then bought TF2 keys with those credits on TF2WH. You can then trade those for games on Steamtrades. Of course it might be overly complicated... especially if you're not already doing some trading.

Yea but right now bitcoins are like $400 right now. Also if you build a rig for mining bit coins you can make like 1-3 per month. That's not bad with the amount going on right now. Also are you mining with an Nvidia graphics card? If you are you're doing it so wrong. Radeons mine bitcoins soooooo much faster than an Nvidia.

A few months ago when I got into it I could get 0.05 bitcoins in a day (about $6 then) from mining with my Radeon 7870 card. I've stopped a few weeks ago since it was taking about a week to get that same amount and I was probably paying more in electricity than I was making. Now that the ASIC mining hardware is available, difficulty has increased a lot and you'd have to seriously invest in them if you're planning on getting any kind of profit out of it. To me it was just a fun project that got me a few games for "free" along the way.

Of course it is, but it is rather not profitable given the price of a good rig and the electricity bill. It was profitable in the early days but not anymore.
