what would make you want to whitelist someone, reasons

basicly, just comment what you feel is a good reason to white list someone.
what i feel is a good reason tends to be someone whos helpful, someone whos giving, someone whos respectful.
basicly any good quality would qualify as a reason to whitelist others, but id like to hear what everyone elses reasons would be.

edit: one thing i wanna say, your all great people and id friend you all on steam if was possible.
but thanks to there friend limits being so small tied to the level i cannot, but i will say thanks for the reasons and feedback.
ill continue to reply as i see new comments appear, but id just like to say thankyou for taking part in this thread ^w^

People who wish me a happy birthday, which happens to be today. :-D
Last year I made a thread and GA about it and had like +60 on my whitelist. Today it's 92, also counting some nice people I traded/talked/read their posts I met during the year.

Myself I'm on 21 WL and 31 BL, but I don't really check group/whitelist giveaways. Only my wishlist tab, and very rarely, there's shows up a whitelist giveaway. But if it weren't rare, it wouldn't be that special, right?

seriously thats like a last resort for me, if someone is doing something really wrong.

I'm pretty much echoing a lot of other people by saying this, but I whitelist people who are helpful, civil if not kind, and those whose posts manage to amuse me in some way. I'm not the type to be offended by everything, but there's not a lot that makes me laugh, either.

I guess whitelisting is for people who actually create this community (not only enter GAs).
I think steamgifts comuunity is one of the best communities in the entire internet :)
