Another "fukken" bug

Well, i've bought Shadowgrounds pack on Steam. I FORCED my account to update. Then i looked at a Shadowgrounds pack giveaway. And i was still able to enter. Come on! Why do i need this "update account" button if it doesn't work?

Works for me. Have you tried resisting all urges, suppressing your wild desires, and tried doing the "not enter" method?

shadowgrounds pack works well for me, but i can somehow enter magicka pack, though i have it. just adding, in case cg checks this topic and decides to fix that thing.

Magicka is a tricky one. The complete pack includes Magicka: Marshlands, however, it doesn't appear on Steam user profiles. For that reason, SteamGifts is unable to know if you own that particular DLC, creating the entire pack.

Also, you'll notice Magicka: Party Robes doesn't appear in your SteamGifts account. This is because Steam user profiles list it with an incorrect ID. If you check your Steam profile and click Magicka: Party Robes, you'll notice it redirects to the Steam homepage, because they need to update the ID on their end.

yeah, I know that thing about Marshlands:) haven't noticed that about Party Robes before, but well, how about blocking a giveaway if you have like 75% (or even 50%) worth of a giveaway?
i.e. if Magicka pack is $25, while those two DLCs are just $4, i have (according to your site) 84% of that entire giveaway in my account. The gifter will be really unhappy to give it to me, even if i really lacked those two DLCs.

According to the database, your account was last synced on August 3rd. I clicked the broken force sync button and it updated your account with all the purchases you made in the past week, including Shadowgrounds. This is the first time I've heard of the button not working, so I'm assuming you simply misclicked it. Give me a shout if it happens again.

Is this sort of vitriol really justified for this? I mean, I'd get it if you were not able to enter for a game you want, but if you own it, who cares? I mean, it does need to get fixed, but hardly merits this sort of reaction.
