Error: sync requierd - but profile are public

I can't tell you what's causing the issue because I have no idea, but syncing it manually should work ;)

but my profile are public. I do not change it.

logout and login... clear cookies... no change.

it's happened to me a couple times too lately but i never figured out how to fix it, it tends to go away on its own, suddenly it just lets me sync again out of nowhere

That happened to me earlier today. It fixed itself on its own pretty quickly.

Try going into your Steam profile settings, make your profile private and then public again, see if that helps.
Sometimes, Steam will blur mature pictures in my friends' activity even though I told it not to, un-checking and re-checking the blur option always works for me. Perhaps it will work with the public/private thing as well.

I change my friend list to private and After this (and the same time) I try sync and... ok.

turn the friend list to public.

now sync and everything turn back (probably) to normal.

but now I try (for a test) and its happening again...

Happens to me alot as well, don't change anything and just wait for an hour or so and it will eventually work. (or just wait for it to automatically sync again)

yeah.. but after one week is impossible to enter in giveaways. Like yesterday and the motive that I started this thread.
