"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" is a classic by Eric Carle, that I think everyone should read at least once in their life. It has helped thousands of young minds imagine a world of beauty, find their way through any challenge and inspired them to become something great later in life. You should base your assignment on that, I don't think there are many like it.

Ooh, ooh, my favorite was Polar Express. And if you're too lazy to read it, you can watch the movie. Bonus!

It might be helpful ...
From my standpoint, this literary classic is a unapologetic take on the greed and entitlement that pervades society and has led us to spend beyond our means. This takes the form of a fanstastical mode of transportation, the R&D and construction thereof which would bankrupt the global economy with little return on investment despite the initial jobs it may create. And all the while, citizens celebrate, basking only of the here and now, with little regard for the consequences of this economical time bomb.
In other words: MUST READ.

Hi guys. I haven't decided on what text to do for my English assessment (due this Thursday)
Basically, it's just a personal response to a text/idea in it. So how I responded to it, what I thought. So I don't need to study a character or whatever.
I've done Shutter Island, and A Clockwork Orange. Any suggestions for what I should do next? I was thinking Sin City. :)
