Time-Travel
According to Hawking it is, but only in forward direction. Going back would create a sort of feedback loop where the portal would destroy itself before you could even send light through it. But creating those portals is practically impossible considering they would take the amount of energy contained in billions of stars.
EDIT: More about going forward in time, there is this astronaut who spent like a year in space and they calculated how much time he travelled forward doing that. I don't recall the exact amount, but it was pretty dissapointing. This has everything to do with relativity.

Time travel is possible but only into the future. If mankind one day invents the machine with which we will be able to travel faster than the speed of light that is. I think if you travel faster than the speed of light, while it feels normal inside the travel to you, the time around you will go slower. So you basically use many years to travel from one place to another but the travel itself really takes only about an hour. That's why we need cryo sleep- capsules or other mechanisms to prevent people from aging.
My theory, but then again, I'm not a scientist, so my theory is shit :D

Yes it's possible, but not with the knowledge of physics from now. Humanity still uses science of past centuries from 19 and first 20. There is an ill will and is not wants the current science to advance to much.
I'm from the past but actually i'm from the future.

Bit of science:
Scientists have managed to get a photon of light to exit a tube a fraction of a second before it entered, which is as close to time travel as it gets. This experiment has been repeated and independently verified.
However, when they tried sending data (a pattern of photons) the message got lost i don't recall the details, and I'm sure the technical stuff would go over the heads of most people
So, while technically they've achieved time travel, for any practical purpose they did not

This video from the Know explains why time travel isn't possible.

I guess that it might. I was about to vote "no" because of our current physics, but:
Who knows what we might discover in the future? People used to be sure that landing on the moon is impossible because of gravity. Nope.
We already have theories that if they turned out to be true they would actually permit time travel. For example, the Many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics (which is in itself quite singular and it would have extremely interesting implications).
It's just sad that we might never be sure. So... who knows?
EDIT: I also love this sort of discussions on a game forum. No sarcasm here.

Hi, I was watching The flash(TV show) and there are some cool time-travel scenes, It had some epic season finale that kept me in shock.
well in the finale he travels back in time and stops his mother from dying, that thing bugged me for the last couple of days.
because I am kind of wondering if it's possible. Do you think it's possible?
