Hopefully Through the Woods and Virginia are getting 75%. It's too early for Edith Finch unfortunately.
Too early for any of my most wanted games I guess, so this sale will be a very cheap one :(

Virginia looks pretty good, m gonna put it on my list

I'm hoping for a good(over 40%) discount on the Nonary games although I'm 99% certain it's not happening :(
I'm certainly getting the Armello Hero packs though(Usurpers & bandit Clan) regardless of discount. Besides that whatever gets a good enough discount up to the point where I can cover it with Steam Wallet and not actually bring my card out :3

GTA V. I don't care about modding or mp and I've been meaning to buy it for ages.

if you have never played the story, you should buy it.

I love all of the previous GTA games and it seems the sp for this game is just as good.

Meh, had this whole "you should boycott or pirate cause bad bad companies" post planned but I'm also using my cards to buy games on Steam when I should be giving Valve the middle finger so who am I to talk? You do you!

Everytime the PC version of GTA V gets mentioned the only thing I hear is that mp is basically unplayable because of cheaters.
Strangely that problem does not exist on console at all.

So if that SP modding thing (which basically was more in 2Ks corner that in Rockstars if I'm not mistaken) is all you got to label them a "bad company" you should proably build a stronger case first before you go to court ;)

Edit: And sure, modding in general is a positive thing but did you see the Liberty City or Vice city mod ? In my opinion it's not like we lost anything worthwhile.

Didn't see anything actually, i highly dislike GTA as a franchise for years now so have no personal experience at all, I'm mostly parroting here. And there was an intentional touch of hyperbole in there :P
Point is my inner crusader almost slipped through the cracks a bit(nothing like a good crucifixion, amiright?) and that we should all be more responsible consumers but hell, I'm certainly not so f*ck it :3

Also it doesn't really matter who was the primary "culprit", a purchase supports them both, so even if one had nothing to do with it you're still contributing.

Good point. But after the whole GTA IV AMD debacle and the fact that Read Dead Redemption didn't get released on PC I was almost sure all future Rockstar titles would be console only because that's where the money (for SP games) is.
So since I actually found it quite surpring that there even is a PC version of GTA V I don't take the whole modding thing too seriously.

Tbh, I actually passed on a cheaper version of GTA on console since I like all my games in on place. I guess that makes me the worst of the worst XD.

I actually think a big thing missed in the GTA debate is actually just how good and vast the single player vanilla experience is. Its still worth buying even if you cant mod it or have no interest in MP.

Bump! Things I really want: LISA complete, Angels Of Death, OneShot, Hyper Light Drifter, Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines, Primordia. Also want Night In The Woods but I doubt it will go on sale. Unfortunately I don't have much money so will choose based on whether the discount is good, really hope it will be.

Hyper Light Drifter on my list too, if it gets a good sale

It had hit 50% before so there is a moderate chance it will go for lower, hopefully.

Oh well what's 2 more days. I'd probably get a few things, mostly retro stuff or modern games that look retro).
Maybe Fallout 4 now the price dropped and if it goes on a good sale.

DON'T! If you let yourself be lured in by the price drop for the base game it will cost you double on the Season Pass.
Bethesda DLC never go on decent sales.

My pc don't meet the requirements anyway, if the whole job thing becomes more solid, i'd definitely get a new pc.
I got a completeness OCD, if i get a game i want it complete, so all Dlc's if possible. :p

Yeah unfortunately some companies seem to milk it, when you get a base game very cheaiply through sale or bundle and you end up paying alot for the rest.

I feel the same way about a lot of games, so I feel you there. They've had GOTY versions of all their previous games, which do go on sale. So maybe hold off for that (by which point you'd hopefully have your new PC).

Of course, they might never put everything together nice and neat like that, too. Bioshock Infinite is four years old now and still hasn't. You can get the base game and season pass as a package for $50 (which is ridiculous enough for a game that old), but you'd still be missing a few things from the $5 Columbia's Finest DLC. Seems like a sign of the times. :/

I am starting a week trial tommorow, looking at a pc that's 2000 euro, if it all goes well i'd need to wait 2 pay checks, so 2 months in buying a new pc. Learned with Kaby Lake Windows 7 updates aren't supported anymore though. :x

Yeah that and the crazyness like a Train Simulator, DLC worth thousands of dollars.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, those too. I don't play simulators but it breaks my heart to see all those nifty Paradox games I want to play with more DLC than I can count or ever hope to make sense of. Each one might be pretty cheap, but there are so many that they would eat up the entirety of your average person's gaming budget.
