Because people are tired of these threads. And a lot of the people making them are either people that try to provoke people or that are really whiny about it and think they should not be on any blacklists (not the case for OP though).

some people will black list you after winning a game of theirs to prevent winning another some people wil blacklist you for any other reason you could think off sadly don't feel too bad about it tbh there are profiles here who have over 1k bl. In the end its up to the person to decide who they will blacklist or whitelist for whatever reason just think that there are way more people out there doing giveaways. And your giveaway ratio is quite nice already for someone who is only been here for a week so just keep doing what u do and karma will most likely catch up ;p

Welcome to the blacklist club! My first time being blacklisted was unexpected too. And today I saw that I recieved 4 more blacklists on the day I posted my birthday train. Strange reasons these people have. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I guess that there is a possibility that the person who blacklisted you did it not because of some personal offence they took or some other such grievance, but rather just to stop you from getting more of their giveaways. With so many people on this site and many being forced to (tearfully) watch as wishlisted games slip away from them, some giveaway creators would like the potential chance for more unlucky people to get a game. They stop you from getting more of their giveaways because they know you have won something already, but countless others may have not. So its could be just to give others the chance.
Of course the reason could just be due to salty feelings that arose from insert whatever reason they decided on. Either way just take it in stride, be pleasantly surprised you were able to get a game and enjoy life. S'all you can do really.

You can stumble on them in giveaways and discussions.
Tip: Check your giveaway winners on being blacklisted (it just takes a couple of clicks) as there are very wonderful SG users that blacklist you and at the same time enter your giveaways and they can also win them. :X

There's even a level 9 out there on SG that premeditatedly and purposely enters trains and then after that he entered all the giveaways he can blacklists you and then makes up a deception story aka lies, lies and more lies to hide what he did...

Steam and Steamgifts are two separate entities and SG rules don't carry over to Steam (I know this for a fact from a mod that's now a supermod). ;-)

I recently did my once a year go-through of my BL/WL.
I found that a few people on my WL were perma-suspended... so, they got dropped from my WL. I like adding random people to my WL just to recognize their generosity.
I only BL people for ratio on SG. If they have won 2.5+ games for every one they have given away and they win one of my GAs, then, they are at risk of being on my BL. But I do go through and remove people from my BL if they have improved their ratio. I am thinking that if I keep this same idea about ratio, I should clean out my BL more frequently to recognize those that are improving their CV, ratio and being generous. I am very happy to say that I saw MANY people improve their ratio and I even added a few that were on my BL before to my WL because of their increased generosity.
So, I am planning on doing my yearly giveback train to my for my WL peoples. I am very much looking forward to saying 'Thank you, again' to those who have been generous or impressed me in a positive way.

Actually, some were people whom I had won gifts from a LONG time ago. I just had another cake day last week. I didn't really feel like celebrating it . . .Since I do WL anyone that I win a game from, some of them were people that broke the rules and ended up getting perma-suspended. for whatever reason. I think, it was like about a half dozen out of the 220~ games that I won were people that had this happen to them and were on my WL.

I am still fairly new to SG all things considered but I have noticed sometimes when I comment on a discussion board and then a day or two later I see my BL graph has risen. I can be very opinionated on some topics, so I must assume it is because I am awesome and they don't want me to waste my time on bad GA's ;-P
