I mentioned it in the past, but I think it's worth dedicating a separate thread for this fantastic tool. You can find it here:

http://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/

It basically allows you to filter and sort your Steam library in a very powerful way, showing only games that match a certain set of tag (e.g. Atmoshpheric + Post-apocalyptic + Story Rich), or that support a certain feature (e.g. Full Controller Support + Local Co-op), and then sort them by either Name, Playtime, Metascore or Steam User reviews. It's also now possible to bookmark the page already populated with your Steam user to make it easier to access the results. An amazing tool that everyone with decently sized Steam library should know about.

Some recently added improvements:

  • Store search - cool new tool to search the Steam catalog, based on tags and features, sortable in the same ways as the user's library.
  • The friends search now shows friends in a drop down list (after entering your own username in the first field). The tool is useful for finding games several friends own.
  • Some other recent enhancements are listed here.

seems like something that I've been interested in quite a while, but not sure if it works well for me. I tried filtering by "Local Co-Op" or "Co-Op" or "Local Multiplayer" , to test out to find the Jackbox Partypack games, but despite having all of those features, they did not appear in the filtered list. Am I doing something wrong here?

EDIT: after a second look, I think I see what's wrong here: the Steam features aren't always accurate as they should, so I should probably sometimes rely on Tags as well to filter

Lorenzo Stanco has been improving the Steam filters with many useful enhancements. Here are the ones he updated me about since I last bumped this thread. Quote:

  • Save the current combination of applied filters/sorting, and check it back later. Just click the new "Save current view" button under the bookmark URL in settings, and a new URL will be generated for you. When you visit such URL, all filters will be re-applied automatically after your library is loaded. That is available on all tools, meaning you can also save a store search for the most rated multi-player zombie FPSs with controller support and take a look every time you want.
  • New filter for free/paid games, available in settings of all tools. You can use it in your library to hide "free junk", or in the store search to hunt for free-to-play games!
  • Ability to hide games with few user reviews, available in settings of all tools. You can choose to show only games with 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 or 500 user reviews, overall or just recent (last 30 days). This can be useful when used with user rating sorting, since less-popular games with just a few positive reviews get a perfect-100% rating and jump in first positions.
  • User reviews count, both overall and recent, is available now also as a sorting option. You can use it to list most "popular" games on top. Please note that reviews data is updated once or twice a week in my tools.
  • Supported languages filters in all tools. In store search, you have to type a language name, like you do with all other filters.
  • In Wishlist filters you can now select your country. Games' prices and discounts will be listed for the selected market/region.
  • You can now compare more than 4 libraries in Friends filters. When comparing 5+ libraries you lose color-coding, instead a simple people count is shown next to each game: hover the mouse pointer over that number to see who own that game and their playtimes.
  • In Store filters you can optionally enter your Steam ID/name if you toggle the new checkbox under the search field. Search results will be clearly marked in case you already have that game in your library or in your wishlist.
  • If you click an already selected filter in the Store filters search field, all games matching that filter will be excluded from search (just like it works for library). For example, you can search the entire store for indie horror games without zombies in it :)
  • You can now choose which information is shown on the top right corner of games, independently from the selected sorting option. Click the little triangle in the top right corner of any game, and take your pick. This way you can, for example, look at your games' playtime while sorting them by user rating. This works everywhere, in library, wishlist, friends and store.
  • There's a new sorting option, called Wilson score, that you can enable using the new gear/settings icon in the "User rating" button in the Order by section. This is still based on Steam users' reviews, but it rewards games with lots of positive ratings over games with higher scores but low reviews count. This should help further removing the clutter, and can be used as an alternative to the already available reviews count filter. If you are curious about the math behind that, check out this article: http://www.evanmiller.org/how-not-to-sort-by-average-rating.html
  • The new gear/settings icons in the Order by section can also be used to ignore articles (a, an, the) when sorting alphabetically. This is useful if you need the library to match the list in your Steam PC client. Plus, the ability to sort with recent user rating has been moved as an option under this new icon.

And if you actually read thus far, here’s another giveaway that’s not listed in the OP: URL.
