ULTRA-TRAIL CAPE TOWN is my all time favourite, unfortunately its far from Europe.
From all European races I've finished, Madeira Island Ultra-Trail is my personal favourite! Highly recommend :)

I love to run! I've been running every day for almost 2 years and I've completed an unofficial and, to be honest, not the most successful marathon. My current goal is to run an official marathon under 4 hours. The only race in which I directly participated (I was in the volunteer team) is the Vinnytsia half-marathon, which is also held in Ukraine. Now, unfortunately, in connection with the war of aggression committed by Russia, such events have become much less, and it is not possible to go to other countries with such a goal either. I know about interesting trails that pass in the Carpathians, which intrigue me, and this is something that I will definitely try someday. I wish you success in sports and, of course, thank you very much for the giveaway.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Running a marathon under 4 hours is a great goal. I haven't done a marathon yet (a 30k trail was my lingest race so far), but my goal for a road marathon is under 5 hours. And for a trail marathon, it would be to just finish the race :))

I want to go for Maratona di Roma, it's said that there are around 500 monuments on the way.
Though I'm not sure how much one would be looking while running but still, that's in my wishlist.

On any race longer than 10k, one has time to enjoy the scenery. Rome is on my list too, more so now, that you told me there are 500 monuments on the route. I didn't know this.

Kyiv is kinda getting bombed right now, so just about anyone is gonna freak out a bit when you say you want to go out of your way to run in a warzone.

I echo this. Please give careful consideration to going to active warzone. Russia will not care who you are or where you are from and will kill anyone equally. There are much more safer ways to support Ukraine and/or work your leg muscles.

I always wanted to do the Wings for Life run, in Poland it takes place in the city I just recently moved to, but it got sold out so quickly... the only option left is doing it virtually with an app...

I heard about Wings for Life. There is an official event in Romania as well, but too far from where I live. The only virtual race I did was to help break a Guinness World Record. Other than that, a virtual race doesn't give me that feeling of competition. It jut feels like training on your own.
