I have an idea! Let us write the faq on a papper, glue the paper on a rock, and throw it people on the head! This is the only thing that would work!

I assume he is talking about the Dirt 3 giveaways in that they are exploited? Since people would to have broken the rules to get so many keys.

Now seriously! When someone makes a giveaway the first time, the faq pops up so he can read it. So if he breaks the rules he will be immediately banned. Its so easy!

May I ask politely what's wrong with this? I really don't know.
And what's an exploited game?

A exploited game is a game that cant be activated anymore and the problem is that people open giveaways before they read the FAQ!

So the Dirt 3 keys can't be activated?

Dirt3 was not exploited there was a massgiveaway through AMD they are legit., read Dark Messiah Might and Magic MP Only, and Eets. Those are exploits.

My translation is „Правите хуйня с тези игри“. It's not Russian but it does the work.

My take on the problem from a usability perspective is that the FAQ is IN the forums. Why isn't it in, say, the top navigation bar instead? Why isn't it displayed when registering (I'm assuming it isn't)?
In addition, being in the forums it can be mistaked for a FAQ -for- the forums, in which case users may just decide not to read it as they assume "I know how to post and sh*t".

I'm guessing many of the (new or old) users don't even bother to check the forum-section, they are just after giveaways. Required reading should be presented in your face-style, not buried in the forums. Assume the average user is really, really stupid and place it accordingly to make sure it's read.

So, the people giving these invites should be penalized for not making sure these morons know what the hell they're doing. This is supposed to be quasi-communal, if people are inviting idiots and not telling them what is going on, it's the people inviting these morons who are at fault, not the site.
