fortunately threads i post tend to get very little exposure, so the impact should be minimal.

i would like to point out that there are currently at least two collections of games called "magicka: collection". one is available from the steam store for the price of 34.99usd. the other is available from greenmangaming for the the price of 9.99usd. the price difference is majorly due to dipsarity of content between the collections. however it is important to point out that the collection at greenmangaming is currently half-off and would normally be sold at 19.99usd. both require steam. an enterprising contributor may attempt to rely on the naivete of the community, or fall prey to it himself, by using the less content-ful collection sold on GMG as a giveaway, listing it as "magicka: collection", portraying the gift as the version available on the steam store. this would wrongly increase her/his contributor value an extra 25usd.

i wanted to point this out to the community and the devs so they know and can alleviate the situation (if they see fit).

links to the two collections:

edit: it has been pointed out that magicka: collection has already been given bundled status.

Here, have an ancient answer from support and I guess the policy didn't change:

Hello, Infernotoni. As long as you include in the description what it doesn't include, this will be fine to submit as a giveaway. Thanks for contacting support.

If it's a Steam code, how can it differ when you activate it on Steam?

You can still give out any collection that has been updated with additional games even if you have the old collection. You just need to specify that it's the old one missing whatever game/DLC that was added later.
