This just showed me how little steam knows about me. All the recommendations suck.

The interface is not ugly, but too exaggerated in blue.
My eyes are burning right now lol

RIP New Releases tab. Gonna have fun sorting through the popular new crap all the sheeple are buying. >.<

The colour is gonna take some getting used to again.
So new releases and specials got pushed down to the bottom favor of 'featured' new releases and recommended for you, great. The recommended games seem to be games that share tags with your recently played section sorted by how many players they have. Considering tags like indie which aren't a game type this doesn't really help. Clearly I will like Space Engineers since it is so much like Shadowrun and all f2p games due to playing TF2.
The queue system is stupid as it runs on the same logic as the recommended for you thing. Games you click not interested on will not be recommended to you and will not appear in the featured sections. Considering specials got pushed so far down you'll never see a game ever again if you mark it not interested.
The curator system is dumb because of the way they implemented it. It has no reason to be on the store page. Just put reviews from groups and people I follow at the top of the review lists on the game's pages.
tl;dr yuck

As you've said...
It's not bad, but could take some getting used to.
Still better than when Youtube or Facebook udpate...

They've made some changes to incorporate the things that made me use Enhanced Steam (which no longer works). It's still too new for me to have decided how I feel about it, however.

I'm liking some of the new functionalities, but hating the layout in general. I would like to still have access to previous design.
Also, some this are still bugged; specially lists and sorting. Steam Enhanced is misbehaving, and the percentage that this add-on show for up-voted is way different sometimes from what Steam now shows. All in all, I prefer the old Steam.

I don't like changing layouts on my favourite websites, so it's even harder for me to see changed Steam! It looks plastic to me, pretending to be this kind of "oh-so-smart-and-modern" I don't like, and yes, it's just too blue. To me, it seemed more... "elegant" before.
And the curators are ridiculous, especially in Polish translation. Like... no. Just no.

I like it,
but I want the grid back for the weekly sale thing, I don't like the forced List.

Its good they added more filters but I personally dont like it. For example I really want to remove "My queue" "Steam Curators" "Recommended for you" + Weeklong's grid was better instead of the need to change pages. And why dafuq is blue? Is every software soon or later will change their background to blue?

Do you like it? Discuss!
I personally think it will take a while to get used to but it certainly feels more modern and it doesn't look too bad... Fortunately the next sale is in one month (right?) so we have plenty of time to get the hang of it! :D
