Does just my Windows Media Player have attention deficit disorder?

So, I was playing Sonic All Star Racing Transformed on Expert Time trial where you are not allowed to do a SINGLE mistake... and then WMP thought it would deserve my attention more. It just changed the tab I was viewing (like with Alt Tab) To WMP. Superb, Sonic ran on and I crushed a wall - that was it with the perfect round. It happened several times.

Do just I have a sick WMP?

itunes occasionally does the exact same thing, even when automatic updates are off, they are both annoying

I can understand :D if this happens again you can consider closing it before start playing.

Speaking of wich, yesterday it crashed suddenly without apparen reason, never happened before in the last years.

Realtime player is the worst, and WMP sucks too. I think VLC is the best.

iTunes isn't that great either tbh.
For videos, use either VLC or XBMC (full media center, not just video player)

For audio I'd personally recommend AIMP or winamp (better known in case you're afraid of russian programs)

Media Player Classic is a lot better. I suggest that you download the Combined Community Codec pack.

Don't download iTunes, it's the devil's music player. I had to install it because of my iPod and it's horrible as hell.
