What is your records on playing games non stop?

I've done a couple of 24-hour charity gaming marathons. The last one I did was back in Februrary. I stopped at about 27 hours because my fiancée wanted to go out for the afternoon. The year before I did over 34 hours because I had nothing else to do that day :)

Me and my fellow Rock Star Gamers have big plans for the next marathon though. If the logistics work out it'll be epic.

30ish hours playing (probably) Red Alert 2 together with my brother. Only stops was going to the toilet, and going downstairs to grab more drinks, and grabbing drinks/food in general.

Edit: this is far from the ideal time to play in a day, it is not even a day anymore technically. :P

Edit2: What are your records and how long is the idea time to play a game in a day? And then the poll follows with I need to rest after that is not quite the same.

Not quite sure on how many hours I was "actually" on the pc, considering I had a part-time job. But I remember that I was awake for 2.5 days in with non sleep in the year 2000 while playing ultima online!

When I was a kid, probably around 10 or 11, I was playing Resident Evil 2 on my PSX, the thing is I didn't have a memory card so I couldn't save my progress, I started playing around 13:00 PM and I kept playing until 5 or 6 in the morning from the day after. I think at one moment I passed out because I woke up on the floor with the controller next to me and the game wasn't even paused, also I don't remember when I was starting to get sleepy.

I once played TES: Skyrim for 73.5 hours straight. This was back in 2012. The only time I got up was to got to the toilet, grab a drink or have a smoke. I wish I had saved the Raptr after-game summary for that session. It was brutal.

14 hours on Skyrim....

My record is well over 24 hours, but that was cause I was worried about a family emergency and couldn't sleep and gaming kept me from dwelling too much onit.

I played for around 13 hours non stop (not counting WC breaks, ocassional phone calls and bath time, though I didn't quit the game in between). Batman Arkham City

13-15 in Lineage 2 ... i think i had a couple over 15h ones , but i guess going to the store for food counts as a break , so 13-15 is the record i guess :P

In 94 my parents gave me a Snes and a FF6 cartridge for birthday. They gave me it at 8am or something like that. I remember I played it non stop til 3am, slept til 9am and played it again until 2am of the other day. I miss that time.

More than 18 hours in Left 4 Dead 1 multiplayer. Fell asleep sometime, woke up, drank a coffee and carried on playing :D

15-16 Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst

10-12 hours in one hot day in summer... Dead island with friends, then TF 2, multiplayer battles in TR 2013.... Also in every weekends i don't sleep until my eyes close themselves =)

Around 36ish when D3 was released.

I Invited a friend over and we kind of played from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. and the night before we played like 8.p.m-12 or 1 a.m.

"Only" cca 10h.

3-4 days then i passed out and my face was hurting from the keyboard, there was soda bottles, junk food, pizza boxes, and anime was on the TV. >didn't die that's for sure

Before, a few years ago I could play non-stop, I would keep going until the game crashed or something went wrong. However, in the past three or so years, I get incredibly sick when I sit and stare at a computer screen for too long, and actually playing a game makes it worse. So anymore, the max I can manage before I vomit would be 3-5 hours, if I'm lucky.
