I just had 3 private giveaways with 3 or 4 entries only !!!!!
I set them for 2 hours initially, level 2+, was about to post the links in a discussion when my ISP decided to cut my internet arbitrarily for the 2nd time in 2 days. After the connection has been fixed now the giveaways had only 1 hour left before ending but I still posted the links anyways thinking the number of participants wouldn't matter.
And I didn't even know this need 5 entries to get the CV was a thing. I thought stuff like this couldn't even possibly happen because the logical thing would be to alert me if the number of participants was too few or something (or declare the giveaway as failed, refund entry points and not have to give the key away).
And I always dismissed the thread when I used to read the title before in the past, now I decide to take a look tosee why such a thread exists and low and behold I just learn I just wasted 3 games for no CV :((((

It was made so small group of friends couldn't farm CV. 5 entries rule doesn't apply to public giveaways without any region restrictions though even if it is level restricted, so keep that in mind :)

So groups of less than 5 friends can farm CV but groups of 5 or more friends can't? And removing such giveaways and refunding entries would accomplish the goal. But as I said I find it strange but I'm not salty anymore :p
