Anyone here frequently unlocks CS:GO crates?

The value of the stuff in CSGO crates seem much better than TF2 crates at least. Usually most of the stuff is junk and worth a couple cents

I opened a few cases when they first came out, got stattrak aug and some other really good skins. I think I made a lot of money according to my steam market transactions. But it's probably not worth it, a friend of mine got some mp7 skins.

its not worth it, its a mugs game. some will say its worth it because you can get an epic drop, but really... how many people actually do.

just save your money, valve doesnt do crates and keys because it loves charity, it does it because it knows theres a lot of suckers out there, and throwing a few choice sweets to some of them keeps all the suckers keen.

I felt myself getting hard when I saw that AWP. I bet most of us do not have this sort of luck.

i spent 60€ in keys to open the crates and after selling everything i got back 20€ (without saying that the best i got was a 2€ famas and 4 cheap stattracks)

Couldn't resist to open one crate at the beginning of the CS:GO update. After unlocking this
masterpiece I instantly stopped...

i opened 3 huntsman case's and in 2 i got Galil | Kami (fk it ) :/ and in one i got USP-S |Orion field test (was happy with this) xD

I get money from selling skins and crates from drops and I open crates using this money, so I don't really use my real money. Well, nothing more than 1 euro so far.

That's valve making money over gamers' obsessions and using the virus of gambling that's in people's nature!!!!! And yet no half life 3 :'(

Crates are for selling, not opening. I always sell them.

I open them sometimes. My best was Aug Chameleon factory new skin and I got ~70e for it.

Ask yourself a really good question: Would you rather have skins for one game? Or would you rather spend the money on a steam sale or save up to buy a new and better rig?

I only use the default skins, I dont really like any of the tacky crap that comes out of the crates. That being said, the only real way to make profit is to only open cases from a brand new set so you can sell them before the market gets flooded.

When a new "Operation" starts, buy the pass so you can get the cases, and open those to sell stuff. Otherwise, you are gambling with REALLY bad odds.
