Hi! I've created a few different Steam groups for people with decently high account value (calculated by Steam Gauge), varying from $500 to $20,000. It's more of a collection group rather than a giveaway/review group, similar to Games Collection groups and Comment Collection Groups. If you fit the criteria of any of these groups, send a request to join and you'll be in ASAP! It'll be cool to build a collection of users, signifying how much we've wasted on this platform lmao.

Account Value - https://www.mysteamgauge.com
$500+ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/500_Worth
$1,000+ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/1K_Worth
$5,000+ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/5K_Worth
$10,000+ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/10K_Worth
$20,000+ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/20K_Worth

Definitely share this with anybody you know with a large amount of games or high account value; the group is very small right now and could use a boost! Thank you!

Wealthier users are allowed and desired.

What's your purpose?

If you're talking about the wording there, that was taken from a similar group, Games Collectors. It pretty much just means that even if you're eligible for higher groups, you can still join the less wealthy groups. My purpose with these groups is to create a collection of users that have made it to such a high milestone.

But, why? What's the purpose of creating a group for people with such expensive collections?

It's a bit of a milestone marker for those who put tons of money into their accounts. The same could be said for groups that show off how many games you've collected, or what level you are. People just like the recognition and status of showing that type of thing off

Hello, are you sure that many people would join your group if you mean that " signifying how much we've wasted on this platform lmao." :-) ?

I'm sure we all can agree that we've wasted a lot of money on Steam. It's just a joke lol

I have decided to switch to using Steam Companion when calculating account value due to Steam Gauge's terrible website stability.

Here's hoping I don't reach the $5k threshold until I actually play some of my current games!

I have only ~450 games and my account was calculated to be worth 6900... To have some sort of "elitist" group you'd need to start at 15k. Not 500+ :D

I'm too scared to check the value and besides I'm trying to remove some games from my library :)

Apparently my Steam account is valued at $13,498.71 - I just wish my house had the same difference between what I actually paid and it's valuation. $13,498.71 doesn't even seem that much now. After I went to the bank to do the money transfer I went to the pub in shock and ended up drunk and hugging a Glaswegian. I think I need a Steam group for homeowners with annoying squirrels in the attic...

I have a marten in the attic. Or something else that likes to eat stolen eggs up there, does it count?

Would a marten kill my squirrel? Would a marten be an improvement on a squirrel? Maybe it would be a step up on the property ladder...

I don't know. It does keep rats out of the way... But it also takes dumps all over.

I'm in if you also allow homeowners with a white front door

I have a white front door - sadly mine is broken. I'd call the landlord to sort it out but that is apparently now me...

That's perfect. If I would like to hijack an account I would just check out the Users of the group that spend most...

It says $26635.48, but that's insanely high compared to what I actually spent, at least I think I only spent a few hundred at most. I'm also fascinated by the fact that I would need 5889.2 GB to install all games, that's like 4 times the storage capacity of this PC.
Not interested in the groups tho, just felt like sharing my results from steamgauge.

The calculation is pretty stupid. For Honor is calculated as 79$ but was free for a long time. Other games, that are frequently on sale, get their original full value too. Maybe the system calculates it different to the table it is showing in the end though...
