reduced/bundled is based on the price available in the steam US store compared to any other region (russia is usually the cheapest one), price glitches, or bundles (always with tier 1 and 2, tier 3 and monthly only if the total price is over 95% off).
free means it was given away in sites like gleam in large quantities.
free tags from games haven't been removed, so far.
bundled to unbundled happened a few times (ie: alien isolation, and wolfenstein - the new order).

How does SG know if games have been reduced or been free?
Because users post bundle threads or send tickets to support to let them know.
Also does the reduced or free indicators wear off of a game after a certain amount of time?
No, not usually.

I've had this on my mind for a while. How does SG know if games have been reduced or been free? Also does the reduced or free indicators wear off of a game after a certain amount of time? Sorry, I'm relatively new to SG and these were not answered on any of the guidelines or any of discussions I have read.
