I guess forcing users to follow the rules and activate their won gifts is much more important, than default-level setting.What do you think about this?

My bad! I've have missed the 'giveaway-> winning' part of the guidlines. But as you can see in my create/won-giveaway-ratio i'm not a bad guy in general. Will change my behaviour on steamgifts now to match the rules. Sorry for that.

Well, the funny thing is that a ~5 not-activated wins and a double-win user will get suspended for some time and half a year later someone will not be able to reroll on that user that broke the rules, and if he decides not to give him the gift, he might get suspended. Also, not activating 5 gifts is far worse than not giving away anything.

Hopefully the banning decision will not base on a simple black or white point of view. Unfortunately i can't activate only one of the named games cause the others were traded or used as new giveaways.

you can always buy the games you traded/regifted. And yeah - ppl not activating and regifting their wins are far bigger problem in the community than lvl 0 users.

As someone already pointed out you are 10 months here, it's easy to say afterwards "well i didn't know" and think you are done with it, regardless you can assume someone will probably be reading along that does report you.
How is it not just black or white with that amount? We aren't talking about just 1 game.
It's your responsibility to read the rules, and if you didn't accept the punishment for it or get yourself new copies.

You're right but why should i create giveaways and start discussions like these when breaking the rules consciously. Just to increase the chance that i get banned? This makes no sense at all.

imho we should encourage users to create giveaways.
Is there any type of statistics how much giveaways are created grouped by needed contributor level?
