Meeh, I don't care, to find someone per personality when steam does not require to give even Your name is almost impossible. Moreover digital genocide should stop embarrassing themselves xD and of course should learn about freedom of speach etc. Internet should be place without propaganda, censorship and butthurt about someones opinion about their shitty games xD

Long story short:
-DigiHom was unhappy with how steam users treated them (and some of them really did step over the line, and deserved a good booting, but that's another issues), and decided to sue 100 of them. They requested that Valve would hand the personal information of those 100 steam users to them.
-Valve got unhappy (and they can't leagally do what DigiHom requested, not without a court order), and booted DigiHom from steam
-DigiHom is now trying to sue Valve.

-DigiHom is now trying to sue Valve.

you sure on this part? last i heard it was "considering/contemplating". pretty big diff between considering and actually pursuing.

They have no money to sue Valve and were trying to get crowdfunded for 75K$ :D

What a joke "company" and especially this main guy :D

yeah, lol. listened to the entire interview again last night.. every time digihom had the slightly upper hand, he'd turn it around and kick his own ass while jim just sat there and let him.. jim barely even had to be there to have him just continually kick his own ass.

Was the crowdfunding not an attempt to seek help against Jim Sterling (which backfired, as people were donating such small amounts that they would end up losing money for each "donation")

Yeah, you're right. I went back and read their statement (man, their website is an eyesore. It's actually hard to focus on reading things due to the terrible sidebars, color choices and well, more or less everything), and they're looking for legal representation, they've not actually made reality of it

yeah. lot of smoke for someone who could not raise the funds even when asking others for help. there was a false/joke article that said they were suing them too, so thats why i asked. it would not surprise me still though if they did try and go that far.

Actually, they subpoena'd Valve for the information. Valve may either hand it over, or fight the subpoena in court.
With a lenient and patient judge (who's willing to work with them and let them amend and stuff, there's a good chance they'll win this part see here

Maybe we should teach them what "Freedom of Speech" is xD

Well, freedom of speech is a tricky thing. First of all, Steam is a private forum, they set the rules, and if you don't like it, then tough luck, they have the right to ban you for speaking your mind, even if what you say is entirely legal.
Second issue is that some of the comments overstep legal boundaries. While it's in your right to say "I think game X is crap because Y", that's protected, it's not in your right to say "I should kill you you piece of for making this game", and the comments that they're referring to are along these lines. It's not protected by freedom of speech.

Define play, and games. I don't think those are appropriate words in this context.

But yes, removed games stay on your account (to my knowledge, there has only been a single non-MMO that got wiped from people's accounts, and that was years ago)

I suspect these may one day be collectable. I mean, they may one day gain cult status for being so horrendously aweful in the same way as e.g. ed wood movies have achieved cult status
