Football or Soccer?
I could answer most of the questions, but Q4 & Q8 seem too hard for me and Google didn't help yet. ;)
I love watching English football, but I'm not an expert in its history.

Q4 is also done. I had found the right FA Cup final and even the right player, but used to enter his the short form of his forename, since his Wikipedia article is even done with the short form. ;)
So Q8 remains to be done. I thought I knew the answer without even using Google, but my first thought seemed to be wrong.
Yes, our second half of the season was pretty solid and I'm pretty happy we're out of the dramatic relegation battle we're having now in Germany.
Our Semi-Final against Bayern was really dramatic and if we beat Wolfsburg in the Cup Final, this season could still be seen as a success.

A few people have solved it so I am assuming you have the wrong team ? The format is given as an example at the top of the quiz, just the general team name as would appear on Wikipedia.

finally found it, had tried with five different teams in different formats, you were right I was wrong. I do not speak English and was looking bad, god bless the online translators! xD

Don't know what the reference is, but that seems to be a pretty accurate summary of modern football.
The game would certainly benefit (both as a spectacle, and a sporting contest) from the referees allowing proven divers to be curb-stomped by opposing players.
