Get Saints Row IV preorder or wait for less price in future? and what does 'merica weapon?

NEVER preorder. Especially with no gameplay footage.

I think that in general pre-order are bad. You have to buy the game before you know anything about it (paying full price with no reviews) to get some items that should probably have been included in the game anyway. Think about all the poor people who bought Aliens: Colonial Marines on pre-order to get the extra gun and wonder if they feel it was worthwhile. I think there are some exceptions to this, for instance I've got Rome 2 because I'm fairly confident that they won't mess up this game but I still can't really justify the risk I'm taking pre-ordering it for some tf2 items and a faction pack. Given the history of Saints Row I might wait for some reviews before buying that one.

I would preorder but Australia's incompetent classification board banned the game because of an alien anal probe weapon and now we are going to get a censored version.

I will likely play the crap out of it, but I am going to wait until I see a proper review/critique of it before I throw my money at it.

That said, really happy volition is able to make and release it. Very nice to see some devs not having to suffer a total loss from decisions their publisher made.
