Who has the oldest Steam account? How old is yours?

And Valve gamer since '99-2000.. Since the beta stages (beta 5.2) of Counter-Strike. :D
(still playing beta 6.1 nowadays btw :D)

I reckon many of the earlier Steam accounts will have been people that got The Orange Box since that's when Steam experienced it's first real growth spurt.

It's about time I've seen some accounts older then mine, all of my friends and everyone I know usually only have about 2-3 years tops.

I'm part of the sad 2004 group. Not CS:S player so no luck there...

My old account was from September 2003 but I sold it to a friend because I was going to "stop playing counter-strike" (that was basically what Steam was for back then.) My current account is from March 2007.

11 October 2004, almost 9 years... ATI Radeon 9600XT + HL2 bundle :)

Ive been a member since July 12 2004, I guess that's when i finally upgraded my CS game to 1.6

May 2006. I don't win.

On steam since 7 August 2008. I remember I created this account to play Orange Box.

Technically since April 2010. It was back when Steam was launching for Mac OS, and Valve was giving away free copies of Portal to everyone who signed up for it at that time. I actually had no use for the account at the time; my Mac couldn't even run Portal on low settings. But, I figured "free game? I might use this someday!" Low and behold, two years later, I bought a gaming PC, and still have that copy of Portal bound to my account.

Member since December 25th, 2005. If it weren't for Garry's Mod and Half-Life 2, I wouldn't have joined so early. Saw Garry's Mod shown on G4TV years ago and considered buying Half-Life 2, got the GotY edition (with CSS and HL1) for Christmas. Some of my friends followed suit shortly after I told them about GMod and Steam back then.

Just got my 1 year badge a week ago :D
