Yep, those who don't frequent the forum won't see it. Won't show up anywhere else. Also, it won't show up on your list of gifted gifts, but the value of the gift will be attributed to your total amount of $ given away.

It will still say you have gifted X amount of amount of money as long as more than 1 person enters the private giveaway.

Nah it doesn't really matter. You can see from my profile, it says "received 7" but only 6 gifts show up, because I did one private giveaway for CS:GO.

So i was thinking about giving away civilisation V : game of the year but i have a question.
I wanted to do a private giveaway and just give the link in the forums so more people who frequent the forums will enter :P
( I want to do this because i've enjoyed the forums quite alot and some people answered some questions i asked)
So my question is this : Is it any different from making a public giveaway ?
