How nice of them! Hopefully this sells well. Maybe if people show interest in the series again they'll release their slimy grip on Gears 2 and 3 so I can finally play the damn games without having to buy a dead console...

The series is backwards compatible on later systems IIRC.

I don't own an Xbox 1 or Series S/X. Gears 2 and 3 are the only ones not available on Game Pass. I've been wanting to play the series, but don't want to skip straight from 1 to 4, but MS refuses to rerelease them. I'm hoping this remaster of 1 gets some good sales so they'll remaster 2 and 3 as they'll 100% end up on Game Pass so I can finally play them.
