A local SWAT team in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, engaged in a gun battle with a 107-year-old man on Saturday, eventually killing him.

Police received a report that centenarian Monroe Isadore had pointed a gun at two people. By the time they arrived at the home, Isadore had locked himself in the bedroom. He shot at the police through the door after they identified themselves, according to Fox News.

A SWAT team was called in to handle the situation. The officers inserted a camera into the bedroom to ascertain that Isadore was in possession of a handgun. They then introduced a poison gas into the room to compel Isadore to surrender. When this failed, they hurled a โ€œdistraction deviceโ€ into the room, according to police reports.

GTA V is somehow to be blamed...

Since just last week, an eight-year-old boy picked up a loaded gun and shot his elderly caregiver in the head a few minutes after playing Grand Theft Auto IV. The boy, who has name suppression, told authorities he was playing with Ms Smothersโ€™ Colt .38-calibre Detective Special revolver when it accidentally went off, but police believe the shooting was intentional. Smothers appeared to have been deliberately shot in the back of the head while watching television, and died at the scene.

yes i do think the swat team played way to much gta.
maybe if gta had more dogs to shoot they would not do it to EVERY dog within 20yards of a place they hit.

Haha, knowing the media they probably would!

After playing just a few minutes of Skyrim, 14 year old (who name has been surpressed) went to the local Archery Club. There he shot over 100 arrows before taking one to the knee and injuring himself. Skyrim to be blamed, as if it wasn't for the game, he would of never taken an interest to archery and therefore never been injured by a rogue arrow!
