Well, I've got a spare change of 10 bucks, my choices are: Darksiders 2, Dragon Age: Origins or wait till I got a lil more for Bound By Flame. I'm an RPG lover mostly, and a 3rd person lover too, so they kinda fit my criteria, and I also want a game that I will spend at least 30 hours in. Help me decide!

I vote for Dragon Age, I've heard bad stuff about Bound By Flame.

A lot of people say the PC version of Dragon Age is much better as well.

It is. The console version has a horrible camera. It's also running on systems with 512 MB of RAM, so if you want something reasonably pretty it's the PC version you want. There are also a few decent mods for it. A few.

Darksiders if you want to play a game in low resolution because of the bugs. There is even a boss that can only be beaten in 640×480 screen resolution. Anyway... Dragon Age is way more fun. Only contra is that it's DLCs were made with textures and maps taken directly from the base game and the sequel has the same maps in all the dungeons but Dragon Age is a lot of fun.

The sequel may be bad, but the first game is a good standalone experience, and IIRC Awakening is too. They don't lose anything if you ignore the sequel.

BBF is apparently (from someone I know who likes it) a janky b-rpg. If you like that sort of thing, it's worth picking up eventually. Not at full price, though. If you're interested I'd check out one of the dev's earlier games. Apparently the Game of Thrones RPG they put out was also a janky b-rpg, so, you know, if you like that sort of thing, wishlist it.

DA:O is a pretty solid game, especially if you get the full version with Awakening and the DLC, but the base game's fine. Battles can be somewhat strategic with plenty of pausing, carefully lining up attacks, and then steamrolling everything because mages are overpowered, it's a fun time. Switch up your party quite a bit, because some of the incidental dialogue is excellent. It has one terrible section, and Bioware Quality TM romances straight from fanfiction.net, but it's a good game.

Darksiders 2 is worse than DA:O and not an RPG.

Dragon Age: Origins.

Seriously, it's one of the best games ever made.

I pulled the trigger and got the Ultimate edition of Dragon Age, hopefully worth it.

Congrats. You should travel to Honnleath, when you get the option, to recruit the best non-dog party member. They were DLC and so aren't on your direct route through the game. Also in the early camp section make sure you get and complete the dog quest for the best party member, it's missable and that would suck.

Those aren't spoilers, just good advice!

Darksiders 2 is fun, but buggy and the camera is stupid... I don't have Dragon Age so can't say anything about it.
