SteamWorld Heist (90% off on steam)

The DLCs can be bundled for less than 4 dollar all together (including the base game), is it a good idea to get the DLC or the base game would be good enough for the experience?

Nice and fun game, The Outsider DLC is worth it, it adds something new, perhaps makes the game easier as well. I haven't bought the other DLC (hats).

Heist's The Outsider DLC character pops in pretty early and is pretty distinctive and powerful, so if you think you're going to want that after a bit of play, might want to grab that while it's on sale as well, rather than waiting for the next sale (as by that point you may no longer benefit from purchasing it).

More notable than any pros and cons towards how the character may or may not match personal party composition preferences, gameplay difficulty preferences, or so forth, the character's worth getting, imo, just for the occasional added lore tidbits the character provides by being in your party.
