Maybe this is not the place & not the moment to look for someone to lecture. Instead of acting like that, you might want to adjust your priorities towards empathy and helpfulness.

Empathy and helpfulness wouldn't really look at the thread of someone grieving the loss of a parent and think that correcting their thread placement was the way to go. Lay off and stop trying to pick a fight here of all places. And no, before you go there, don't do the whole 'my shit doesnt stink' routine. The one-line reply that started this was warranted given the OPs subject, and you were indignant about it.
Accept the lukewarm L, move on, try to be better.

I am now seeing this, I cant really remember the exact issue, i strongly believe it was put in the general section then deal) which has it's flaws as anything can qualify for that, rather then deals (can't imagine being that stupid although meds also makes me slip up, but even so) regardless i was the one that moved it and fixed it, mods rearly do.
With comments that got deleted i can't really say much more about it, anyway hope we all can forgive and let's not get mad about tiny details. Lets be peaceful here.

I was sure never complaining about you. After writing my first comment, a friend or I noticed this shouldn't be in deals, and I hoped a quick hint would be better than having someone actually complain. In the past there were a few cases of people getting really upset about threads that don't belong in Deals, and that's not the kind of drama you need added to your day after a death in the family.
Instead, when you had moved it but I hadn't yet deleted my post about it being in the wrong forum, the drama got pointed at me, with the other user both arguing that since it's in Off-Topic I must be making things up, and that it's disrespectful altogether to point it out.

I'm sorry for your loss. There are no words in any language to express what one may feel in this situation. I hope, you'll be able to recover. I won't say it's a part of life as I've suffered losses myself and I feel you. Hang on and try to stay strong.

I posted a lot of threads here about myself, my dad included and his health and particulary his cancer. He recently had one kidney removed but things were still looking bright, he started picking up on daily life stuff again the last 2 weeks.
Then this morning he woke up with a heavy breathing problem and he was rushed before to the hospital with "false alarm" and i thought it was another case also because of the heat, but unfortunately this time it wasn't, and when you know someone is past his age you can prepare yourself, but when it's rather unexpected it comes as a major major shock.
My dad and i had our differences, but he was a loving kind father, i always thought we would make up properly someday, but now when you don't get that chance anymore.
A reminder this thing can always happen in an instant, and it sounds just like words but appreciate eachother when you still can please.
