Did you try resyncing your sgtools?

If I remember well sync doesn't really work if Steam is down at that time - make sure that Steam is alive and kickin' and try resync.

Might be a false positive that the people/the guy who maintains sgtools yet has to add to the appropriate category - so it might fix itself soon.

Actually I don't see it in your library o.o
Are you sure you activated it?

Edit: That's super weird. When I'm searching your library it's not showing. When I go to the store it lists you as owning it.

I heard there are cheap steam keys for Telltale: Guardians Of The Galaxy Episode 1 (not full game). It was a key? And did u start your game?

For some reason the game does not appear in your library .... not sure why :|

Stardew Valley so far because it was lots of fun not only for me but also for my girlfriend who's not even a gamer :)

Have you tried this? I checked your library and the marvel game doesn't show up.

Does the game show up in your licenses?

It might just be a different package ("preorder package?") that you will need to ask knsys to whitelist temporarily - or for whatever reason it's buggy and it just doesn't show up in your library.
Something similar happened to me - I won Mighty No. 9 and activated it, but the release got delayed for like a year - so SG tools kept flagging me. Game didn't show up in my library either.
knsys will gladly whitelist the game for you until everything sorts itself out.

I have no idea, but ins't sgtools known for haven't some problems with a games/dlcs, maybe it's one of those cases. Anyways, have a bump and good luck with that!

The steam API can be wonky at times. Guardians of the Galaxy is not the only game that acts like this, A Game of Dwarves is another example of a game that can be in your library, but won't show up as owned, and you won't find it in people's game lists (unless that has changed more recently). So I guess an exception will have to be manually added for Guardians of the Galaxy in SGtools.

This is a really weird issue. The game is quite new, so it might sort itself out in a few days or years, depending on when Valve decides to fix this bug.

Thank you everyone for the answers so far. I wrote an edit above, because there is a good chance this is a steam/telltale issue. Other people are having the issue as well. Its sucks since it shows that I don't have the game, so this will probably lead to some blacklists. Hopefully people take the time to see my pictures in the OP as proof that I own it. This thread has been a rollercoaster!

If the game is not released, it wouldn't show properly. Also, when it's released, it has a short period when the API doesn't report it (example is games released the same day as humble monthly, which is added to the giveaway list but Steam API doesn't recognize it and gives 0 value, until one or two days later)

Not sure how to solve your problem, it's a weird one, but I can answer the question (and bump if it helps).
I think the game I won here and enjoyed the most is Legend of Grimrock, but I have yet to play other good games I won, I'm sure I'll like many of them. :)

Edit: Oh, I see you've reached a conclusion. I kept this tab open for a while and forgot to refresh. :P hope you manage to solve the problem eventually.

I saw your edit but just in case it helps, I noticed that it doesn't indeed shows up in your library BUT when I go to the game page and check "friends who own the game" you show up there :/ So the problem is most likely internal to steam. That's a weird one, sorry that it makes you look like you have an unactivated win :( I'm sure Knsys will fix it for you on the SGtools part though

I think that the same thing happens with Arma 2. Even though I own it, it is not recognized by SG and it doesn't even show up as owned on the Steam Store. This is solved by the game being whitelisted in SGtools.

I've contacted knsys and he fixed my problem within a blink of an eye. Thank you to him and everyone who helped me (even if you just bumped the thread.) I'll close this thread in one day but I want to leave it open for giveaways or if anyone wants to answer the poll question :)
