No you cannot. You can activate it to your account and afterwards download the game and thats it.

1) No. It won't let you use the key beyond saying you already own it.
2) No, you must click Send after the giveaway ends. This is to offer gifters a chance to check their profile for regifts or other reasons people might reroll.

1) If you try to activate a game on steam that is already on your account via a key, does it give you the option to add it to your inventory like how the steam store does.
2) If you create a giveaway and select key instead of gift, and list the key. Does it automatically send the person the key when the giveaway is over once you hit "send key". Yes I know the difference between sent/send, but I want to make sure since iv never bothered with keys.
