I say we boycott those greedy companies that put investors and stock projections above their workers and even customers.
Nintendo just raised their salaries. Theyre proof running a good games company focusing on good products is not only possible but golden - their evaluation and foothold only grow over the years, no scummy practices needed.
I hope you get around this bump in your carreer soon. If its any consolation these companies work through ups and downs and much like they have these waves of layoffs some time later (if not sooner) they start waves of hiring. I know its not ideal going back to (or to a similar) a company that gives no stability or assurances like that, just saying that if oportunities look grim and slim now keep your tabs on the big ones because next quarter or next management change a couple of then will start the extra hiring all over again.
But do look for alternatives as priorities, even if smaller companies at smaller pay. Its best to be in a healthier enviroment with more stability over the stress of not knowing if/when you will be next in line whenever stock drops...
Hope you sort it all out soon, good luck!
And thanks for the GAs!!

Getting layed off means cashing in all my company store game credits. It's only 3 games, and the first is actually a fanatical-bought key, but they're your's to enter. being codes from work, they shooooould work, but by entering you agree to let me delete the giveaway if they don't.
