OKAY, let me tell you something: Square-Enix may or may not be great developpers-publishers, but we have to bring awareness to the fact that SE have by far the BEST pricing and sale strategy amongst all major publishers.
Let me explain myself: 5 years ago, the situation was that still a majority of games sales were physical (which implies the costs of contracting, manufacturing, distribution and retail) while digital games were starting to grow, and both had to compete with both second-hand market and piracy has it's always been the case since the first vinyls bootlegs (in the 1950s).
In order to compete, digital game platform had very aggressive pricing strategy, then there were Humble Bundle, and then Steam highly-cut prices sales with Daily/Flash sales. But the idea that most ignore was that it was a very smart both business AND gamers strategy with the simple idea that with digital gamings, the cost of retails and distribution nears zero, and in order to compete with other publishers, franchises AND physical format or piracy, the best logical strategy was to releases game a full price, but then month after month to consecutively cut the price in order to reach lower and lower pockets.
This is the reason why piracy has been thwarted in recent years, and the authorities attack on platforms and warrez has been efficient, while digital game became the primary game selling channel. But has soon has it happened of course Steam change it's pricing policy and algorithm, and major publishers, more recently indie publishers, followed suit with ever stagnating, barely discounter, sometimes actually rising prices.
-Well, I respect Square-Enix for keeping their head cool, practical and sensical-business oriented and making sure that a majority of people have a maximum of their franchise, make sure they can collect via bundle or acquire at low price their games, as an enticing strategy to have a maximum of people inside and locked into their publishing ecosystem and franchises. The fact that I could collect and have a licence for most Square-Enix title is the reason why I bought both Hitman, Rise of Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: MR or Just Cause 3 earlier, because all the people I play with or recommend to have access to previous Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex etc...so they want to play and buy the next games. Kudos to SE for that, fuck Activision.

Because it's so nice to buy a game discounted with 0 DLCs, and then the next time with 2 DLCs, and then the next time with 4 DLCs.
Honestly the smart move with Square Enix is to not buy, because whatever it is, it surely will get cheaper at a later date (or wasn't worth buying to begin with) ^-^

Discovered that you can redeem the bonus codes to yourself on your own account to get additional Steam keys, apparently as many times as you'd like (I did 3) so that should fix the problem of accounts for redeeming coupons. Since the Steam keys do not appear to be region locked, that means only one person (the original buyer) needs an NA Square Enix account.

How did you get the codes? I tried the following, always with the cart showing a price of 4.99:
1) My own account (EU)
2) Another account I created just for that purpose (EU)
3) Another account in NA created to test the code
I also used 2 different codes, with and without the '-'. In all the cases I ended up with a cart saying 4.99
I bought the game in EU store. Don't know what's wrong here. Am I doing something wrong?

I got my code via groupbuy. My host bought them from na store. So i created na store account. Then found the link above because it doesn't work on the packages directly on the store. Mayba eu store has a similar link? Also i just copied the code without deleting anything and it worked fine for me.
