I think everyone here know that EA is a company that only chasing after money.

I believe they are rely on the bonuses and DLCs, Sims 3 and BF3 got many DLCs!

Sims 3 = 20 DLCs and everyone of them is about 15-40$.
About BF3, I let the image speak for me:

Of course it is not the only reason, just only one of many.

What you think about Humble Origin Bundle?

Sorry if my English is not the best, English is not my native language.

While it might be true that that money goes to charity, but then again the organizations it goes too I must say I think are badly chosen.

Regarding the bundle, I think that EA did a very smart thing there.
They are getting their PR up with this bundle, firstly because of the "good" games for low prices and secondly because the money goes to charity and not to EA.

But then again, I don't think that many people who have bought the bundle would have been potential buyers of the games via origin or
steam, meaning that either way EA wouldn't have gotten the money.
But now, they have more than a million new buyers of their games, while each game offers microtransactions and other DLC as a new income source for EA.

So in a way, this is being very profitable for EA, from a PR and a financial perspective. It is getting harder even for me to not forgive EA for their spyware Origin.

Yes, EA is an evil overlord. Now go study marketing and finance.

Games are only profitable for the first 6 months after their release, after which the revenue starts decreasing so putting AAA titles in a bundle and selling it for 1 or 5 bucks is really not a huge deal and it actually generated greater profit when you consider the fact that they've reached over 7 million USD.

All profits go to charity which is also a pretty nice move because it makes the company look good and draws in potential customers. Origin is also being promoted through this sale so it's a win-win for them. An excellent marketing strategy imo.

Well all games work perfectly with me. So you sir as a human being scores 3/10.
The reply you are going to give on this has no value at all 4/10.
Need more scores? How about your family etc ... Seriously the things you bring on are OPINIONS and problems of your own.

EDIT: Looking at your profile with your play time I give you an overall of 1/10.

Mirror's edge 0.1 hour in total. So yeah it GLITCHES EVERYWHERE. Damn such a ninja you can finish the whole game in 0.1 hour. I am not even gonna talk about the rest.

I can verify the glitches everywhere. I think I own Mirror's Edge on steam, but haven't played it much (if at all) thru steam. I did play several hours nonsteam several years ago, and my experience then was most unsatisfactory. There were multiple glitches, most of which could be gotten past if I tried a second or third time, but eventually I came up against a glitch I couldn't get past. I don't really remember much of the details, though I remember several freezes and crashes and being unable to get to certain areas.

Funny is class sniper, optical zoom is like zoom fom AK-47 from MW1, is joke....

I shot one guy in head from snipe, and move to me and kill me... lulz.. :D
Multiplayer some sucks, sniper for me is here a dead class, like artylery at WOT.
Legit Mirrors Edge work like pirated version ( i pass all game at hard) same problem at oryginal... what is non logical for me.
Sims 3 - works great.... pirate version, legit not, i wrote to support, now i wait to answer.
Origin sometimes blocking downloading and shows error.

Only Dead Space 1/3 and BF3 work perfect.
I hear dat z Crysis 2 you must creare new account.
But to connet him with Origin account. you must have Crysis 3 ;]

Shush now, you've bought 200$ worth of games (maybe more) for just 1 buck. And seriously, would you even buy Sims dlc? Unless you're a huge fan of the series, I see no one forcing you to buy the 20 or so dlcs just to "have them there just in case", so shush now.

Am I the only one that doesn't hate EA?
Yeah, they release too many expensive DLCs and they fucked up Mass Effect 3's original ending, but I don't understand how they can be nominated "the worst company of the USA"...
And I actually find Origin to be more atractive in terms of the UI than Steam.

In my opinion they fucked up DS3 too. the story line is poor. In DS1,2 I read or watched all data that I can find. In DS3 I just don't want. I buy bundle just for DS3 with friend and I want to say coop is much more awful. They so lazy. They just put 2nd model in same locations and don't change anything. Just couple coop mission there they tell about Carver. We just finished first one and that they do in it? just put 1 dialogue of he's "son" and 1 about that happens with Carver at the end of mission and toy soldier model. Too many information...
But playing it still fun. Not because of gameplay, but because of us.

What I think? I think people should stop freaking crying like a little babies. Really, they gave us a great bundle and you complain? just WTF? after the money? hurr durr, they are so evil, they are the only company after money, all those developers with bundles till now weren't after money, hurr durr.

Funniest part is that it's the ONLY bundle that gives all money only to charity and humble bundle, and it's the only bundle people complain about being greedy. Buying DLCs? yeah sure, majority of people will obviously buy the DLCs rolls eyes. And what stops EA taking at least some sum of the sales? it doesn't help them in any way that they don't take a penny from all this. And yet you insist to complain how greedy they are being with the bundle.

This so frustrating, all this blind hating, assholes that's what people are . . . and the best part that most of those people who hating on it still buying the bundle. :|

I think that if you do not like EAs practices then you should not buy the Humble Origin Bundle. I don;t care that all money goes to charity or a friend bought it for you. Just don't play their games.

There's a freaking difference between DLC and fucking expansions. Sims and BF 3 has expansions not some fucking "DLCs". EA has the best practice involving DLCs and expanions and such out of most of big companies.

Be happy that you can get the games on the bundle for the price you can. In all truth its doubtful to me that people will be suddenly wanting all the dlc for those games they just got. I can see it happening for some, but the majority wont.

Think the main reason for them doing this though is that they do not see themselves making all that much profit with the games they listed for the bundle, so they are ok with it going into a bundle for charity. The majority of the people who would have bought these games would have done so already. At least that is probably what they are thinking. Besides that this does help their PR problem a little.

The $1 deal games+bonuses don't really have necessary DLC. EA isn't even getting money from the sales alone. The Sims 3 Starter Pack already includes a decent amount of DLC to get one started.

Jeez, EA has been a pretty shitty company for a while, but that doesn't mean that everything they do is wrong, they did a good thing for everyone this time around, in fact a GREAT thing: EA gets its Origin platform going (which is pretty clearly the objective for the game), us gamers get a ton of games for a ridiculously cheap price and for fuck's sake, 7 million dollars have gone to charity! Well, not really 7 million but since the default split is 85% charity, 15% humble tip it's most likely close to that.
So again, EA gets Origin started, we get a 98% discount in some great games and again, for fuck's sake, 7 million dollars have gone to charity. Add those up (or just the last two) and it's clear that whoever says this is malevolent, wrong or something akin to that, is talking out of their ass and just being plain stupid. Jeez, haters gonna hate have never more true.
