Honestly i know to dam well that felling...I have thyroid problems so i lost count of how many times i was like that...
Fortunately now it's controlled but i need to watch her!

Not to make a big thing out of what could very well just be the Cloudy Weather Blues but if that feeling comes up often for no reason and if it takes over (I mean if it gets too much like you can't get out of bed or don't feel like eating or doing normal daily things), maybe you should talk to someone about it.
Could be a doctor, could be a support group, online or off, or a friend. Don't stay isolated.

In the meantime, have a hug.

contacting people here and talking about your feelings his a first step.
You should talk about that to your family or friends also.
Sad feeling without no reason are in my opinion the symptoms of depression.
We all have passed by that feeling (not sure about my English here).
