Will you buy it?

Shifting my gearbox into the purchasing gear!
Indecisively shifting forwards and backwards. I need hints.
The bundle is out, and I'm still undecided.
This costs too many denarii. My wallet refuses to open.
So many rebundles shifted into this... no buy.
Shifting into reverse, get out of here G.R.O.U.P.E.E.S.!

Well, that's disaapointing. I'm happy I preordered for the two revealed games, but the rest of the bundle is pretty below-average in my opinion. And of course they included a "mystery game" that we have no chance of unlocking because who would want to pay 5USD for this kind of bundle O.o

Edit: Turns out that the "mystery game" isn't actually a mystery game. Good :)

The mystery game isn't tied to a bundles sold goal. So I expect to get it anyway later.

Yeah, just noticed that in the Groupees chat. Good :)

The "mystery" game isn't a mystery. They labeled it that way because they don't want people asking where the keys are (they're waiting on keys from the dev or publisher). Yeah, I'm not making this up..

Yup, I just read it in the Groupees chat :) Good thing that it's not an actual "mystery game" :)

True, I'd rather not have to wait a week or two for the reveal. I wish they'd have delayed the bundle a bit until they'd gotten keys instead of having a mystery game though.

That's asking too much from Groupees, apparently :D

Humble does this with (almost) all their bundles ("more next week") and nobody complains :P

It's not the same thing. Humble doesn't hide games because they're "waiting on keys", and they all unlock at a scheduled time, so everyone knows when they'll unlock. Groupees unlocks mystery games whenever they sign a new game to the bundle (so they probably don't have an exact time for when it'll unlock in advance) or in rare cases like this one they unlock it after receiving keys to avoid support tickets asking where keys are.

Basically, one is done professionally.. and one isn't.

Yeah but you can actually trust that Humble already has things all set up and doesn't have to fish for game(s) to dump into a bundle at the last minute. Not so with Groupees.

I wish they'd have delayed the bundle a bit until they'd gotten keys instead of having a mystery game though.

And we don't even know if they're telling the truth. They say they know the game and it's definite, they're just waiting on keys, but how would the public know the difference?

Was on the fence but skipped, and I'm OK with that decision. (If the Mystery game is good enough, I can still waste an Antimatter coin, I guess).

Only the two revealed games interest me, and only sort of (neither was on my wishlist or even on my radar before this), and at their historical low were lower than the preorder price if I'm not mistaken; so ... yeah. Let's hope they show the Mystery game sooner rather than later (and, personally, I hope I don't want it :-))

They probably are saving the good games for their Be Mines. :-)

I bought Downfall on release day because I loved The Cat Lady so much. Didn't expect to see it in a Groupees bundle, maybe there's hope for them after all.

Was anybody able to redeem his/her "Mystery Game?" I clicked the reveal button and, well, now it just shows nothing except the same question mark icon and "MYSTERY GAME."

Mystery game means it's a game that they are going to reveal later.

They didn't get the keys from the developer yet. The game will be revealed and added when they get them.

Meh. After looking at the games this seems very much overpriced.

edit: it may also be worth noting that State of Extinction doesn't look like it has had any updates since February. Just another abandoned Early Access game?

Maybe the "mystery" game will make it barely worth the $3. Shifty said the MSRP is around $70, so the mystery game is probably $20ish?

I'm really doubting the mystery game will change how I feel about the bundle price though..

Missed the pre-order, which makes me sad. I might get it anyway just to support Downfall. I bought it on day one on Steam because I love The Cat Lady and the original Downfall was great too, but it'd be great to give someone here. =)

Really recommend Downfall! A shame it's this cheap/bundled now, might result in some people overlooking it.
Good dark (disturbing) story, really nice art.

Btw, sensualshakti, there is a spelling mistake in the title.

Downfall is a masterpiece, and no, I'm not exaggerating (though I still prefer The Cat Lady), it's an easy recommendation for anyone who doesn't mind adventure games, generally disturbing themes and gore and likes their horrors stories complex and deep. But same as some people above, I bought it on release, and I don't see anything else of interest in this bundle.

Hah, I couldn't find this topic again because I was searching for Groupees and it had a typo in the title. Unless they changed their name to Goupees recently. >_>

Anyhow, got the bundle. HOG I didn't have, and now I can give Downfall to a friend of mine for his birthday. He oughta like it, he was a fan of The Cat Lady too. <3 I might keep ECO, not sure yet.
