Not directly in the next year. I bought older F1 games in 2018 (F1 11-15). But they get removed at some point.

Just checked all titles: All titles up to F1 2018 aren't sold anymore and F1 2019 isn't available in germany - like it is censored.

To name a similar example just look at Assassin's Creed III Remastered. Going by my gut alone that game was 18 months old when they decided to pull and replace it and I don't think anybody asked for a Remaster neither. But it gives them an excuse to remove a game that has lost value and replace it with an almost identical product and justify keeping up the price "Because it's new!".
One one my buddies even fell for that despite having played and finished AC3.

But it almost looks as if Ubisoft learned something since then because very recently they added 60frames mode to AC Origins without trying to sell it to us as Origins Remastered.

AC3 was released in 2012 and Remaster was released in 2019. So it never replaced AC3 within 18 months.
And nothing has replaced AC3 Remaster at all .... it is still the same, they did remove the original AC3 from sale though, but that was this year.

I believe you're thinking of AC Liberation HD which was a spin-off set in roughly the same time-period as Assassin's Creed 3, which is now included in Assassin's Creed III Remastered.

F1 2022 is broken as hell, especially the AI. It's extremely unfinished. Not surprised, as they made BF2042 as well, oh and they accidentally removed Denuvo from the game in a patch, resulting to the game being pirated less than 3 weeks after release :)

Of course fans are gonna buy the same game for 6+ years (FIFA). F1 at least gets some decent updates, the pricing on it depends though as F1 2020 was 55 euro on launch (still that price and available for sale), F1 2021 was 75 fucking euros!! (dropped to 60 euro in September) and F1 2022 is 60 euro. These games get heavily discounted (F1 2021 went down to as low as 15 euro less than 1 year after launch) showing how worthless they really are. Same story for FIFA, just more heavy (FIFA 22 went on sale to less than 10 euro less than 1 year after launch).

This is beyond shameful at this point.
Before it happened only on Origin, now they're doing it on Steam. Shooting themselves in the foot to support their newer games. While Bethesda et al gives away their old games for free.
I wouldn't be surprised if its because revenue from older games still went to Codemasters.

Quake games have been given away for free.
Now you can get Doom 3 + DLC + Doom BFG Edition by buying Doom 3 alone. (I tested it and it works)
As for Oblivion: GOTY and Deluxe have been 75% off a few times this year on official sites. You just need to know where to look.

I'm one of those fools who has to have everything on Steam. (although I do use Epic and other launchers when there are exceptional freebies like Celeste or Subnautica)
Edit: Oh yeah, GMG and Fanatical are both more or less trustworthy sites in my opinion. One more than the other. Guess I didn't keep a close eye on it because it's not really a high priority game for me.
