5 days ago I've uploaded my first game to google play, and I wanted to share it with you :D

It's supposed to be a simple time killer - for a couple minutes play. Also, you can try Insane mode - it's less boring and more insane :D

I played the game for some time, I would say that the game is really good. Since my phone is a little old - HTC One V ( I had bought it in 2012), and so many games lag on my phone. I am Happy to say this game does not.

any key that left or race the sun if available

is the game didnt respond with multiple touch...?? because i try it several times to catch 2 or more water drop at same time and they just count 1 and the other keep dropping into ground, but in-screen touch-mark show that i touch in perfect place when i record it.
or its the rule to not catch more than one drop at the time....??

Wrote a short review, mistouched, review gone. Stopped bothering ^^

Few points:

  • how about submitting to f-droid?
  • initially unplayable i tried to multitouch until finding out its tap only
  • tablet gameplay feels much too fast
  • portrait mode only
  • given the content, its far too big with its 6,xx MB

Maybe google's fault...

  • About f-droid... that means, I would have to make my game open source? Do I understand it right?
  • Well, it's supposed to be one-touch only, as otherwise it would make the gameplay too easy...(or maybe should I implement multitouch in easy mode only?)
  • Well, on tablets you have much more space, so I tought to make gameplay a bit faster - do you think it's a bad idea?
  • The main target devices are phones, I am not planning horizontal mode - sorry :/
  • About the size: my all assets are less than 1 mb, I am using Libgdx and google services(for admob). As it is my first ever android app, I don't really know how to reduce size :<

F-Droid ... is an open source repository "market" for android so yes... you can use a apache / mit styled license if you think gpl is too viral for your purpose. Main purpose is to convey trust to the users "code is not a blackbox". And honestly speaking i even trust F-droid itself much more than google play. Which shamelessy asks for more identity data without any need for.

Not sure about multitouch but what about adding a visual hint at least. The field of acceptance should be increased in easy at least. So a near click should be far easier... the first rounds @easy were total desaster for me :)
Moving fingers also keep obstructing the view for further falling raindrops. So gameover is pretty inevitable imho.

Think you upscale the game already. Will try to make a screenshot from my device.

Fine fine about the ratio but i so dislike to be forced to rotate my device. Can you render portrait mode in landscape "emulation" mode?

What sucks up the space then if its not the assets? Can't believe some compiled java class files suck up so much... how large is the ad library you use?

I may add some hint with info that it's one-touch only.
I'll think about landscape mode, but it was designed to be portrait mode game, mainly for phones.
And finally, the size... I honestly have no idea what takes all this place, but my guess would be, that libgdx nedds some. Also, I saw a significal increase in size after adding ads(about 2 mb), but I don't think I can decrease it easily :/

I can't show falling speed but its quite high on tablet. I'd say 1,5s for a normal speed droplet. And fingers have to cope with a higher screen estate so fingers need more time to move.
