UPDATE: Thanks to canis39 who will also gift bundle(s) to one lucky winner! So we will have TWO winners! canis39 bundle(s) will be bought from USA! (but don't think it will matter much regarding key restrictions, or I hope so. :D)

UPDATE 2: BarbaricGenie also throws in a bundle! Thanks a lot! That makes it 3 winners! His region is NA (Canada).

UPDATE 3: I just checked the Choice June bundle thread again and there are many region locks unfortunately. It is possible that keys from this bundle won't work in your country. Please keep that in mind!

This is not your usual giveaway, this time you can win a whole bundle! Or you can even combine two (or more) bundles if they don't extend 10,50€ together. What kind of bundles I mean? Any bundle from Humble Bundle or Fanatical (if you want a bundle from an other site that's also no problem) that are currently sold. You can even pick the current Choice, I have a coupon and can gift the bundle to you. Just make sure your wish bundle(s) don't cost more than 10,50€.

To participate, simply write a comment with your wishbundle(s). You can edit your comment to change the bundle(s) anytime you want. Only 1 comment per user is allowed.
IMPORTANT: Please only write a comment if you want to enter! This will make determining a winner easier for me. Please DON'T WRITE a comment if you are not going to participate. Answering to a comment is allowed.

No Mystery Bundles!
No future Monthly Choice (only current)!
Please be aware that there could be possible region restrictions! Make sure to check possible restrictions in the bundle threads!

I will add the winner on Steam and send them all the keys from the bundle(s) via chat. Bundle(s) is/are bought from EU (Germany). You can do whatever you want with the keys, you can even use them for doing giveaways. Or you just redeem them for yourself, or give them to your friends!

End date: Tuesday (today), 4pm GMT

EDIT: extended limit from 10€ to 10,50€

really?? good on them, i hate those, but why??? would assume pushing gambling on kids. Germany seems to be a mixed bag of laws, some very progressive and others.... only just learned germans cant home school kids. law put in place when the nazis came to power and still in effect

Think it has to do with the gambling laws in Germany. Online Casinos also very strict (max 1€ bet per spin on slot machines, waiting 5 seconds between spins etc.)

only just learned germans cant home school kids.

So is this a progressive or regressive law in your opinion?

I live in Austria and I actually wasn't aware of that law but it does seem to make sense education falls under the states responsibility.

According to a brief Google search "Obligatory schooling has been part of German law continuously since 1919" (so even roughly 15 years before the Nazis came to power) but it does make sense they'd double down on it to breed better upcoming Reichsbürger.

However nowadays it still seems to make a lot of sense for the goverment to have final say over eduction.... What if your parents are some kind of weirdos who teach you stuff like the Holocaust never happened and it's all just a lie made up by jewish historians or the earth is flat / the goverment uses chemtrails to mindcontrol the populace?

regressive.
in the USA where we have some of the worst school grades. my niece goes to public school in 3rd grade and they watch like 2 to 4 Disney films a week at school. from what she says the teachers are rude and threaten to hold the kids back a grade of they fail tests. they regularly do this to the point where shes worried about it like every other time i see her.

always gonna be a few crazy people that ruin things for the rest of us
why we need child wellfare checks

in a perfect world kids should go to a public school and learn not only stuff, but to be around other people. our world is fucked in just about every way and school shootings are a common practice. when i went to school it was bomb threats every once in a while, but it was never real. now its 330 school shootings last year in the usa. also got kids that are getting bullied, teachers know it, parents know it and report it, nothing gets done, kid commits suicide....

Yeah, I guess I can see why it would be hard to uphold high consistant standards for people in education in a country of 350 million.

When I was younger I used to go to a business schoool of pretty decent repute but despite that only 60 - 70% of all classes actually took place because teacher just wouldn't show up.

I flunked out - not primarily because of that - and ended up going to an evening business school where 95% of classes actually happened despite the teachers working normal school all morning and another 5 hours in the evening.

Still not sure homeschooling is the perfect aswer though.

and school shootings are a common practice.

We used to pretend this was mostly an american phenomenon but just this month we had (what I believe was) the first large scale school shooting in Austria with 10 victims.

trumpism and what follows is spreading worldwide with facist or FAR right people gaining power wolrdwide and running for government roles. funded by shell groups
facebook found that angry people spend more time on the website. so you give something the angry emoticon Facebook would share it with more people. more angry comments, more views, more ad revenue. long story short they cause a genocide.
with AI you can now fake anything and its only going to get worse.
warned we needed safeties in place.... nope, wasnt profitable

long story short they cause a genocide.

While I don't disagree with most of what you said I believe you got your definition of genoicide a little wrong. I'm not a native speaker but I believe by definition a genocide is an attempt of exctintion of a single race. The holocaust was a genocide. The armenian genocide was a genocide.

In american history I'd say only the genocide of people of the first nations and to a much smaller degree the Tampa riots classifly as proper genocides.

What I do see a lot (in the states) is indiscriminate violence due to a major political divide in the country.

While I do have ~ 3 facebook accounts from the old days from the old days I'm not sure I can find the sheets of paper where I wrote down the logins right now.

Do you mind copying the gist of it because just like X and Instagram Meta won't let you let read it unless you're logged in in.

Well in this case you only pay for information with your data but I still get what you mean 😅

I've had a couple of drinks today (probably why I'm so talkative) but I had to look it up to distinguish between the Uyghurs of China and the
Rohingya of
Myanmar. Not sure why you bring it up because by my definition both fit my definition of genocide.

The Uyghurs are forced into labor camps and made to craft products we all can buy on Amazon and forced to abandon their own culture and the Rohingya are denied citizenship and slaughtered whenever the buddhist majoritiy feels like it. (Generally not the impression most people would have of the buddhist faith)

Humble Choice would be pretty sweet, although I'm not quite sure how it works (really mostly just interested in Hintenberg and Tchia from there).

I'm interested, how are you planning to choose a winner? Just a random number generator or whoever has the most interesting answer?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes I use a random number generator (from 1 to amount of replies at the end). One site has 25 replies (without answers to these replies, these don't count of course), so it's pretty easy to count the exact amount of overall original replies.
