Hello!

I've retail copys of games, that are now avaiable on Steam, but the retail copys have no key on them, that could be activated on Steam right away.

My question is: Is there a way, to get steam keys assigned to those games now, and if yes, how should I ask it from, the company that released the game, or Steam?

The games are: Syberia 1 and 2, Max Payne 2, Guild 2, and maybe some more that I can't recall now.

Thanks for your help!

Sadly it doesn't work that way. You can install them and then put them into steam as non-steam games, but it won't be tied to your account.

Contact devs! They could provide you a steam key.

Yah, some devs and softwarehouses can provide you a free steam key if you have a previous version, but it's a rare option.

Most SH wants to see your money again. :(
